I opened 7 boxes of 2021-22 Crown Royale boxes today.

Absolute trash. The best cards are pictured below



And then to make it even worse look what came out of the last box

You could go out and purchase a few Kabooms for $3K. I understand the thrill of opening and chasing some of the big hits, but at current prices and ROI on a lot of these boxes it just doesn't seem worth it at all these days.

A CJ mccollum autograph is worth like $25 and I'm being generous. Should he really be the only autograph in a product that is $475 on BO?

Oh yeah 100%...It was more like Wow Panini's QC sucks, and speaking more as a collector, an on-card Silhouette Auto of CJ.McCollum would be nice, but yeah in total agreeance that price gouging and lack of value in boxes is atrocious.

I mean, I was no high roller but I would open hobby boxes, even cases with a collecting friend every few months, or so but I haven't opened anything licensed in years and I don't personally know a single person that has. haha. It's almost like a myth, it's big foot now. I heard somebody opened a box, a friend of a friend. haha. With astronomically inflated box prices and the breaker culture, the individual break is almost non-existent.

The reason, not to pile on to the OP, is people will rip 7 boxes at inflated prices. Until people pump the break prices will be slow to fall.
