Yep, heading straight toward another cortisone and horse tranquilizer period of time to force the "every day" crew out there when told. Thought we learned that lesson with Guerrero and Benoit, but guess another tragedy will occur within the next year or two.

Lot of respect to Cody. I think it's 99% his choice to go through with the match, but it sets a bad precedent that they had gotten out of in the 2010s-2020s of letting guys wrestle injured.

Sure it was your main event match (but a B level PPV), figure something else out. Also don't get why Rollins lost if Rhodes will be gone for a while. Easily could've had Rollins win and still put Rhodes over huge by doing it with the injury.

I can see they have Rollins lose to play up the joke type insane character having him go more crazy that he could not even beat a hurt Rhodes.

HIAC turned out to be a pretty good PPV.

The women's match should have ended with Bianca pinning Becky though, because that would have really ended that feud and then she could have started one with Asuka.

Lashley winning hopefully means he's on to bigger things.

I dont understand why Edge is pinning people right now. He's passed his prime and if they wanted JD to win, then Priest should have picked up the win.

Theory I think looks better and better each match. He could turn into a big star for them.

Moss and Corbin I didnt have too much interest in.

KO winning should end that feud. I think Owens would be better off on SD though

Cody/Rollins was really good (And Im not a fan of either one really) Cody showed a lot by going out there and performing. Gotta respect that.

They play Theory right he could be next face of company within 5 years but that being said Vince will probably get tired of him and bury him in the next 6 months.

Well there was a swerve I did not expect with Vince having Judgement Day turn on Edge.

What they are doing with judgement day looks like booking with no direction.

Yep it comes across like they didn't even plan it 24 hours in advance. Why the heck would you have Edge pin Finn clean and then turn around the next night and have Priest say Edge was holding them back and side with the guy they just beat easily. It just makes Priest and Rhea look like idiots.

I wonder if it a "lack" of top babyfaces on Raw with Cody getting hurt and needing to move Edge back to babyface?

Definitely possible. My other theory is Edge maybe hates his short hair so this obviously just a way to write him off while he grows it back out.

Overall we had a great night, I thought the storylines and talent "show-ups" was 10-times better than the Fiserv show after Wrestlemania in April. Plus the food prices were soo much better, LOL.

One of the most baffling booking decisions I have ever seen. The only logical explanation is that Edge is injured and going to miss significant time. If not WWE has proved unequivocally that they have no plan. The Judgement Day has only been put together around March... Rhea joined a month ago... It was way too soon to make a move like this. It completely destroys Edge's heat... It makes Finn, Rhea, and Priest look dumb... and worst of all you take the best talker in the group and replace him with a far worse talker in Balor. They needed Edge to make the gimmick work. Now Judgement Day is headed down the Retribution path.

It was definitely booked as bad as Retribution, but I think it's for a different reason. They are going to lose their best good guy for awhile, so I have a feeling Edge goes back into that role. You know, assuming that the fans don't remember that he was talking $@#*# about them 4 days ago.

I feel like the the US and Intercontinental championships need to be more prominent than ever since there is a part timer holding both heavyweight titles and they continue to be MIA. The 24/7 title has been getting more TV time than the two of them combined.

Make the Miz IC champ the title has always been best when he's been the IC champ.

Isn't Edge on a part time deal? If that didn't change him leading a faction never really made sense. Granted now the group is completely dead in the water. Balor is what he is, they buried the Demon character against Reigns with that turnbuckle nonsense.

If Bobby Lashley is indeed going to be in a program with Theory, as shown yesterday, the US title should be on the line hopefully.

Crews going to NXT could be really good for him. He's actually very good in ring, so he should be able to show that more.

As far as The Judgment Day faction. I never thought Edge as leader was a great idea anyway. They probably should have had Finn as the leader from the start. Them turning on Edge now makes little sense since they've been booked strong since they formed. Would have made more sense if Edge was pinned by AJ at HIAC and then Priest would have had something to complain about. But I guess Edge will just magically turn back face when he returns, which is always stupid.

Internet rumor that they want to turn Judgment Day more "supernatural" Edge did not like that so maybe that's why they wrote him out of the group. Would not blame him if true. Sounds like a stupid idea that will kill the group off quick as fans will likely more laugh at that garbage then like it.

i guess the thing i cant get over with JD is that it would have been so much better if AJ or liv morgan had come out to ask balor WTF and they got a beatdown as well before edge took his beatdown. the way they did it makes it look like AJ and liv couldnt care less if he turned or not. if it is as someone earlier said, and it is due to codys injury, that tells you how fragile the roster is. i know it is not 1998, but back then the roster was strong and if you lost a top star, someone else just slid in and they didnt miss a beat. i think it is partly why they are treating roman like they are, who else on the roster could really carry the title and make it look strong. they have tried everyone else except cody rhodes and no one really moved the needle except brock and he is really just roman in plaid. i really think they are going to go strong after AEW talent and that is why cody is getting the golden treatment. they want to show AEW talent that they will be booked at the top in WWE, but there are just so many spots they can be booked in, and lets face it, who really thinks MJF will be allowed by WWE to cut a promo like he did on tony? not this mark.
