I bought the deluxe Pop Fly set. I thought about buying the Chuck Styles and L'Amour Supreme cards, but since they aren't really players I collect I'm going to pass.

So far I've just gotten the three Lauren Martin cards.

I like that the border on the Suzuki card represents the Wrigley Field ivy.

I been buying a bunch of SZN two, and by a bunch, I mean a bunch of singles but no bricks or anything silly like that. Each artist is pretty compelling and the subjects have been hitting right for me. The last two drops I have bought all 5 base + some deluxe.

i will say if i wasn't on a *$*% topps kick right now i would have bought every card this season. this was most def a better artist pool.
i have not bought any yet, but the 2nd comic book guy (i forget the name) has some great cards so far. almost jk5ish.

That image you found there seems to be on the 2022 Topps Update card for Seiya, based on the leaked sheet from the reddit baseball card forum I downloaded and searched through. Also used in the New York Times article on him in April, which suggested he was a mashup of Trout and Ichiro and was a good read.

But after spending some time in Lauren Martin's world, I care more about the art she added and the interaction between his name and his image on the card. Fun, but it was backlit so he looks a bit like a zombie.

The Acuna Styles was taken by a guy I sat right next to at that game - a Rockies' team photographer named Harrison. He shot the photo a bit tighter than I did (more zoomed in), but we both had nice shots. Mine ended up on Topps Now card 306 and if you study them, it's obvious it's much less than a second apart from the image Styles used for his work.

Styles put more into it, so he wins, and I think he picked a nice moment.

Given the amount of time I had to get myself ready for this, I think I did fine.

Topps also did their bit.... and that was one of the images I would have bet money on becoming a card the moment I shot it.

Seeing as by far the most common poster is Pardee and his was correct, it's almost certainly Topps being correct. That said, I ended up with a poster because they sent my friend two Pardee posters despite only completing one set.
