the issue is that jumbo cases which cost significantly more only get 8 packs and hobby get 12. The system is a disaster.

Well, if they are say 1:30 packs, that’s 1:1.25 boxes of hobby, so that’s the opposite of pathetic especially if you want it to be an actual SP.

Hobby boxes will become much more popular.

These were hyped for what reason?

Just the SPs right? All other cards are normal base and refractors? It's just those 5 cards that people are chasing. No numbered at all?

There might be a random numbered inserted here or there or a random auto as Topps originally alluded to, but in general the main chase is 5 sp rookies.

Looks like print run on each will be about 2000.

Yeah, my guess would be based on 20,000 hobby plus jumbo cases produced.

We still don't know if these exact cards can be pulled from LITE or sonic boxes, yet.

If this correct - or even close, then to borrow an estimated PR number from the Logofractor Thread, there are approx.

2,000 TC SP RC JROD’s
220 Logofractor RC JROD’s

I don’t know why everyone expected these silver packs to be any different than they are. Especially once we saw how rare the SP’s were in logofractor boxes.

No odds listed on the packs, and no way to distinguish the silver packs as hobby/jumbo vs. retail

We need like 10-15 more of these 100 pack openings to tally up enough information to say for sure

What? Did you read the posts here? There were people who thought these packs would have TWO ESPs in every pack! People love being abused by Topps over and over again.

They will be in the Lite boxes, the same as they were in the logofractor boxes. As in, they wont be.

Thanks to all who posted the results from Firehand. I fell asleep after the first 20ish packs.

I mean myself, as well as many other people said this from the beginning of the announcement of the silver packs in the main chrome thread. We said these were going to be full of base cards and junk with the off chance that you might pull one of the SP rookie variations. I’m not sure why anyone is surprised by this outcome.

Lite boxes are going to prevail as the winner once everything settles. Been my prediction from the beginning and sticking with it.

Yes …. If you’re looking for a sealed Box that doesn’t require a separate silver pack to get the 5 SP RC’s …… Lite is THE option

I'm now firmly in the camp that says Topps just issued a very poorly worded release, and what they meant to say was that each format has its own version of the 5 SP guys. So I'm predicting that Lite boxes will only have mini-diamond versions of them, just like logofractor appears to only have logofractor versions and the silver packs appear to only have refractor versions. I'm betting there's no such thing as an actual base version.

Lite is the same as standard hobby and jumbo, just less cards and no auto guarantee. Logofractor is a completely different set.

Based on that I would disagree with the bolded.

We shall see though.

While yes Lite has no auto guarantee, it does have its own exclusive mini-diamond parallel so I think Zworykin's prediction is sound and that could be where the ESPs are

Have they begun shipping the lite boxes yet? Seems like they sold out on topps a while ago.

Except Lite probably does not have the 5 SPs.

Yep, totally fair, it's just a guess.

Topps lawyers for the win in drafting the silverpack announcement. People purchased Lite thinking the 5 ESPs will be in there.

If you read the release it says "The short print rookie variations were included in the Hobby Lite product available only on Topps.com, and the Sonic and Logofractor Edition products"

Being that they are all mentioned in the same sentence... I would have bet $20 that they WERE in the Logofractor boxes based on their statement, but now i am in the opposite and saying they will NOT be in the lite boxes, but the SPS will be the diamonds. Topps has just flat out lied the whole way through.
