2022 Topps Chrome Update - Page 25

I was always ok with the long odds to hit autos or #d cards in TCU back in 17-18. They were $2-3 packs then. With the doubled checklist, doubled price and now widespread QC issues….
Chrome update is dead to me now I think.

Has anyone seen Hobby odds yet? Preordered case has been shipped but won't be here for a few more days.

After ripping 6 megas I am not too hopeful. I am guessing if the odds were significantly better there would be information available.

Ripped my 3 megas. Got a couple decent purples (JRod RD, Torkelson RD, Pena RD) and an auto (Lucius Fox).

There have never been SP or image variations in TCU. I would think the checklist would indicate this if so. Maybe a surprise but I would not count on it.

I haven't purchased cards in a few years. Walked into Target, said what the heck, and put a few boxes of these and hangers in my cart, and then went to go scan them, as I couldn't find the tags for them on the racks. I about fell on the floor when I saw that a box of these was $50 (weren't these like $15 a few years ago!?), and a hanger box was $25. Now I remember why I don't buy cards anymore.

Megas still available on Target.com. I guess everyone got real discouraged by these. Well my 4 hobby boxes are on the way from Blowout and Topps release day is Wednesday. I may have to get 4 more from Topps with a coupon code of course!

Four hobby boxes in so far and it is brutal. One hit (auto/color) per box it seems - nothing of note.

Same format for packs. No Julio purple yet. One Bobbie Witt RD purple
