Package says delivered but it wasn't

There is a happy ending! The package was by my front door when I got home tonight. Checked my camera and I don't recognize the person that dropped it off so could be a neighbor or a post office employee. They didn't have a uniform but I've seen post office here basically using Uber drivers to deliver packages.

Sounds like it could be a neighbor. Each time I've had this happen in the past, that's exactly what happened to me, a neighbor dropped it off. All's well that ends well at least!

Glad to hear this ended well for you. It sounds like you took the advice of a few folks here and pursued multiple channels, which ended in a positive resolution.
