Default We've had concern with buyers account

Hey everyone-
Never gotten this message from EBAY before, and wondered if people who have how they proceeded. My instinct would be to just cancel this small order, but they say other wise in directions. Any input from people who have dealt with this before would be appreciated.
Below is the note

You recently received an order from envyonthewest. We wanted to let you know that we have reason to be concerned with activity on the buyer’s account, so you should not proceed with the sale.

Here’s what you should do:
Don’t ship the order to envyonthewest if you haven’t done so already.
If you've already sent the item, contact the shipper to see if they can return it to you.
Don’t communicate with envyonthewest. If they paid for the item and then request a refund, contact us first and we’ll let you know what to do next.
If your listing has ended, you’ll find it in the unsold folder. You can relist it from there.

It says don’t proceed with the sale, so I wouldn’t proceed with the sale.

Looks like eBay gave you pretty clear directions, follow them.

I for sure won't proceed, I just wondered if I should cancel the order now, or let it run it's course. I naturally would just cancel this order, but EBAY's Directions don't say to cancel order if not sent. It just states don't send, and if buyer says anything about not getting item to contact EBAY. I would just rather cancel order, block and be done.

Considering you're using eBay's seller marketplace I'd follow eBay's instructions on this one.

Had this happen last year, but I had already shipped the item and clearly you can't stop USPS First Class. Nothing happened in that, I kept the sale and have no idea what happened with the sale.

Surprising eBay does anything. But I have had that message before. Assuming they have been kicked off eBay

Which is odd. Because in last few months. I have had 3 different non payer buyers. Who had at least 100 positive feedback with negative comments. I called and told eBay every time. They did not seem to care

Not only do these buyers have 100s or non payments and are still bidding. But my seller requirements are not working .. they are set for can’t bid if you have more then 2 none Payment

Sorry for the rant.

Just got off the phone with ebay on a similar issue. Had a buyer from the UK keep trying to buy an item. The feedback was filled with comments from sellers that they didn't pay/scammed etc. I blocked the buyer, but they kept creating zero feedback new accounts and trying to offer on the item. I kept blocking each time because you could see the location was in the UK so I knew it was the same person. This morning the card sold buy it now for 275 and was paid. I checked and sure enough it was a zero feebdack buyer from the UK. The user ID also said it was no longer a registered user. I called ebay since I was a little hesitant on shipping it out and they said I would be covered since it goes through the authentication process (I'm guessing he provided a US address) and that I might be getting a message like the one you posted. He said there was certainly problems with the buyer and suggested maybe waiting it out a little bit. He said they typically will send that message providing instructions on how to proceed.
