This stuff is the best! It's the dawn (but really the golden age) of inserts and parallels and chase cards. Pure modern gold. A lot of the designs from the mid to late 1990s make current Prizm and Chrome stuff look mundane. Truly classic stuff.

Very cool pickups, especially the Griffey! I love me some 90’s refractors. Did you get those online, a show, or LCS?

Great stuff. That's what makes collecting mid-to-late-90s cards fun -- the wide selection of unique designs.

Love it! Just wait until you decide to build entire sets of these things (it's coming if you're not already at that point).

I asked a dealer at a show if he had an '93 refractors available, cards that were issued when I was 11 years old. His response was, "I don't carry any vintage stuff."

Super awesome stuff, the Andruw is so iconic, would love to own one of those at some point

The Chipper too, and of course the Canseco, would love to see more of this era on the boards

Sorta like hearing Green Day on the classic rock station.

Great 90’s refractors. I have peeled off the coating and regraded 4 of the cards and they graded at least 1 grade higher on average.

Yeah, the coatings are often scratched up, many times even straight out of packs.

i like the peel, idk why, but i do. so i've been trying when i can, to stick with finest refractors with the feel, in PSA 8's if possible.

Yeah,I used to like to keep the peel on too, but the refractors just pop more without it. Some forum member has a Sabathia refractor with coating then peeled and regraded and is presents so much nicer. Either way 90’s refractors are awesome!!

That Josh Hamilton is gonna make you rich if he ever wins an MVP.

You really wanna run with the Big Dawgs... go buy baseball's version of the Kobe Bryant TC Refractor:
