Until the account can be recovered, and there is 100% certainty that no bad actors still have access, this is a totally reasonable approach. This will hopefully be sorted out in the coming days with a reinstatement if appropriate.

This. I understand not letting Brock login until it's been resolved and known the hacker can't get in and do it all over again.

But there needs to be some communication with him.

I was in some communication with Brock via DM and seems like he was indeed hacked and a legit dude, but apparently in all of this I’m too trusting allowing established accounts with 5k posts and eBay feedbacks of 11k+ be the vouch and have a learned a sad lesson here.

Please help to stop these guys from hacking/Scamming others.

Wow i woke up to finalize a deal for my desmond ridder prizm psa 10 gold vinyl auto.

Saw that he was banned. Thank goodness i didnt send yet. Feedback looked great and looked to be a trustworthy member.

Thankfully account owner caught this in time so that I could stop payment and the ownership transfer. It looks like I was able to recover all of my funds and cards via pwcc and PayPal.
Phew!
I did turn in that account to PayPal and PWCC.
A big lesson learned.
Thank you to everyone who helped and so glad to read that other deals were stopped before they got too far.

The moral of the story is don’t send money to a Nigerian national while sending cards to someone of Bengali descent and hope to receive a card from a white guy in Wisconsin in return. Glad it all worked out.

Yep. Also to note. After warning, Lasvegascardstock that their account was being used as a link to a scammer, their response to me was to simply block me on eBay. I literally just reached out to let them know and that was their response. Kind of makes one think that maybe they were involved.

While these could all be related, it’s one of the most common surnames and there could literally be a million Hasan Chowdurys (if that’s a real person anyways)

Edit: I see a couple of them have the same email at least, I’d still lean towards it being a coordinated group rather than a singular person tho
