Most underrated SSP inserts/Case Hits

With all the hype around Kabooms and Downtowns I was thinking about which SSP inserts are underrated? I like Color Bursts the the best, think Kabooms and Downtowns are not as rare but definitely most popular

Last November Evan Joseph’s ranked the Most Underrated 90’s inserts of the decade. I hardly agree because the list is extremely end of the decade heavy. Joseph’s listed his as the most Underrated 90’s Football inserts -

9. 97 Finest Atomic Gold Refractors 1:1,152. “Parallel not insert”.
8. 98 Metal Decided Edge 1:384
7. 95-2000 Pacific Cramers Choice 1:720 “I Agree”
6. 99 Ultra As Good As It Gets 1:288 “Wasn’t a big fan”
5. 99 Fleer Tradition Under Pressure 1:96 “Not a Top 10”
4. 97 TSC Triumvirate Atomic Refractor no odds “Nice Design”

What did I take from this list, extremely limited to Offensive players and even more so with QB’s, RB’s & WR’s. I would have named mid Classic, Early Topps with Finest insert, etc. It’s the same star power in pretty much each insert. My take.

The Night Moves by Donruss are probably my favorite. I like Select Color Wheel as well. I prefer the case hits that feature a real life image of the player. I understand the excitement around Kabooms and Downtowns, especially the player poses in Kaboom. I just get a bit turned off by the cartoon-ish feel. Some love it, we all have different tastes.
