Not licensed it would say San Antonio Spurs on it.

Still should be much better looking than Leaf and it has LeBron autos too.

Clearly not licensed, but do we think long-term these Wemby's will be more sought after than Prizm because of the autos? Or is the Spurs logo more important for collectors?

95% of the values are going to be in the autos (especially those who don't have licensed autos yet). Who's going to want unlicensed non autos when Panini has thousands already

Prizm prices have already shown you that licensing matters the most. Prizm Black Shimmer does $516k while his 2022 Bowman U Best super auto does $67k.

The real question is will people prefer these kinds of sets over his Bowman and Topps Now stuff. There are going to be some hurting bag holders.

Spurs logo is most important.

A lot can depend on what the checklist looks like.

If it's a full checklist with every rookie, LeBron, Curry, and all the rest of the vets, I think it will have some staying power, even if it doesn't surpass Prizm.

If it's a weird set like Finest way, then it'll likely just be another oddball set that gets semi-passed over by collectors. Kind of like Steph Curry's Exquisite rookie.

I would absolutely hate to be the person that thinks this is better than every release made by Panini based on a couple of mocks.

Like, I'm not even mad. I just feel sad they can't enjoy nice things out of bitterness.

For me, personally,....

Sure; collect who/what you like. But let's be honest, here. The hobby (generally speaking) has/will never be receptive to unlicensed, airbrushed sportscards. Period! Sooooooooooo,.....unless you're spending boatloads of cash with Backyard Bois or any other number of loud & obnoxious, noise makers, screaming....."LET'S FUGGIN' GOOOOOOOO!!!", you'll mostly FAIL in pulling any of the relative-few cards that the hobby will give a rat's arse about. Ya' know; Wemby, Lebron or (possibly?) Jordan autos.

EDIT: Until Craptastics secures the NBA & NFL licences, it's nothing but an absolute, money-grab on their part,...by pimpin' out their exclusive signees! Nothing more,...nothing less. HELL; theoretically-speaking, even when they get the licenses, nothing changes!
