Yesterday when I actually got someone on the phone this is pretty much what their customer service rep said.. no explanation on why my 10 day order sat for days in assembly just that they grade 1.2 million cards a month and people seem to be satisfied..

I think SGC had a chance to force PSA to get with the times when it comes to customer service but instead of making changes they just buy the competition.. maybe Fanatics will buy BGS and try to get them back to a top tier company

Value Bulk, it has been 15 days since I got the Assemby completed checkmark. Sure wish the grades would drop -- I'm getting anxious now lol.

So much money tied into PSA and it is what collectors want to buy. People that buy PSA slabs don't care about PSA's customer service. They care about the customer service you give them when you sell them a PSA slab. Too big to fail is the PSA story.

I think there is opportunity for someone to come in and clean up BGS and take a chunk of PSA profit. BGS was up there with ROA in 2017-18.. I actually liked the thick ass slabs and 9.5 would hold their value compared to a PSA .. rant over.. serenity now.. serenity now

Seeing alot of posts about being stuck in Assembly completed, I've been here for two weeks cmon PSA lol. Should've just paid for Value instead of Value plus.

Anyone ever have an order hit QA checks with a card that's been given a grade but not in a holder? Wondering if they're changing the grade on that card. Every other card pictured in the order is in a holder.

PSA will have an on-site submission booth at the Dallas Card Show May 16-18. I said I wasn't going to do card shows this year, but it looks like I'll have to make an exception.

Same boat. Just over a week with a green check mark on the assembly stage with no poppage on a value plus order.

Most likely this will be the last time I use PSA for vintage cards. I doubt they will finish my order in 4 months from received date.

I sent in several vintage cards for grading mid February 2024, using Value, and they are just now moving into Assembly. Kinda. it still says Grading when I expand the order. Regardless, I think they are really backed up on the vintage side of things and also on the general Assembly side.

I haven’t had any problems with orders being stuck in Assembly, but have run into orders that are taking several days to be shipped once getting to Completing.

Day 12 of assembly completed with the check mark, I'm almost positive that they're just running way behind with the upcharge emails.

I doubt that's the case. I mean perhaps for some orders but this is pretty common practice to have orders sit in the assembly green check mark for several weeks. I have one that is currently on 20 days but I have had several before that spanned nearly 2 months and never had an upcharge.

Right, but those orders still had to be reviewed by the upcharge people even if you didn't get upcharged. So they're likely behind which is causing the delay at that step, which is where the upcharges happen.

I think this is what is happening with my order (17 days in assembly with check mark). Both times my orders have sat for 7-10 days plus in this stage i got hit with upcharge. I guess it’s just a waiting game at this point and they must be flooded with pending up charge emails in the Q.

• A 31 card 4/8 TCG Special has been in assembly for close to a week.
• The 70 card Modern Sports one from same day in Grading.
• Orders that arrived 4/29 have yet to be entered.
