Just framed this one. It does come in the flimsy UD toploader thingy with the small UD sticker….but I think the PAs display better matted/framed.

Thanks- looking forward to hearing what you all get back from UD in terms of the sheets (hopefully they deliver soon!)

Curious of the thoughts of this group. I’m sorting through everything I got from my MM22 cards and have put together a number of set.
I have a few base sets T1-T3 as well as a cover variant set T1-T3. I’ve got complete 90 card sets of Epic Purple and Gold Signature. What set do you think is the best to keep of the two (gold or epic)? I’d like to keep a “complete” set of one, and I like the relative rarity of the purple, but not sure which will be more desirable long-term. I like the look of both, though the purples can blend in with the dark cards sometimes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To the hobby. I think the epic purple 1-90 is a pretty clear cut winner in terms of value. Each card numbered. Also less of them. If we run through the print run numbers (and it’s been awhile so kinda rusty) but I do think gold tier 4s come out to be about /250. They made them easier to get in MM22 compared to previous masterpieces. So even in the tier 4s, epic purple is out of less at /199, plus has the advantage of being hard numbered. That said, there is something about having the ‘regular sets’ which to me is the trio of base, variant, gold. Epic purple is sort of a ‘bonus’ parallel set, not tiered, and its own thing.

Thanks - that is helpful. That was kind of my thinking as well and I ballparked the golds around the same. I’m with you on your point about the “regular sets” which is why I asked. I think the gold foil has a longer legacy and the tiered rarity has some appeal - vs say the concept of every card is /199. That said, the fact there is only /199 sets no matter how you cut it is a hard factor for me to override. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
