Nope.

Rest your key guys, get your younger players a full NFL game's worth of real experience. It could be valuable down the road to see guys like Kingsley, Morris, Chenal, Hicks, FAU get another full game under their belts.

And if you win, the Dolphins still have to lose, and the Bengals have to beat the Steelers. And if that all happens? Cincinnati gets in the 7th seed and plays Buffalo in round 1. I know I'd personally much rather play a Bengals team that has beaten 1 team with a winning record to this point then the Bills team that has already beaten the Chiefs.

Interesting. I guess the bottom line is you have to beat the best to get to the SB whoever that is, but the Bengals have been our kryptonite for years and I would not want to play them in the AFC championship at all. Then again, I don’t want to play the Bills or Ravens either, but we can’t dodge them all

Well, I have some good news for you: The Chiefs can't play the Bengals in the AFCCG.

The only way Cincy makes the playoffs (which is still a tremendous longshot) is as a 7 seed which puts them up against Buffalo in round 1 (the Wild Card round). If Cincy wins that game, you have them in round 2 (the divisional round).

I think that in the interest of creating the most entertaining match ups, the playoff committee should.....

LOL

Actually, the NFL has come up with a very strange system for determining who gets in the playoffs.... in the NFL's system, wins and losses actually matter and everything gets settled on the field.....

Just imagine someone arguing that, because the NFC South is so weak, the Bucs shouldn't make the playoffs and the Bears should get their spot because they play in the NFC North and strength of schedule matters more and also they are the more historic team with a bigger market.

Kryptonite for years?

The Chiefs have won 3 straight against them.

Again. Much rather play them then the Bills.

I might be the minority, but I want the bills to come to KC..I think playoff Pat will take care of business. I don’t want this narrative of “bills would have beaten the chiefs had they played” crap..

Correct.

And honestly, the best case scenario IMO for the Steelers win Saturday and the Chiefs likely get the winner of Steelers/Texans, but in the long run I'd be just as happy if the Bills got knocked off by Cincy instead.

The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champs who last year went through Buffalo and Baltimore on the road.... you don't win a Super Bowl without playing good teams.

Bring em on whoever they are.

True, true.

Yeah, I guess you're right. They just seem to play us really wetland we've snuck by with a few last minute penalties recently (that were justified).

I'm pretty much just a nervous Nelly at this point in the season

Division winners should make the playoffs but I still think the better record should host the game.

For instance this year the NFC South winner will host either the Lions or Vikings who will have at least 4 more wins.

If the Bills are gonna get the credit they deserve, they need to beat KC in KC and go on to a Super Bowl appearance...

Kinda feels like the Red Sox and Yankees, the Sox needed to beat the Yankees before they got to the World Series or there would have been doubters either way...
"Yeah, but you didn't beat the Yankees"

I guess Jaylen Watson actually does have a chance to return, that's fantastic news as the defense looked different without him.

That's insane. Even if it gets marked as paid I have a hard time believing it. Awesome if true though.
