Which means it will be Chiefs winning 24-19
Refs call even game challenge level: IMPOSSIBLE

The link I shared includes this year and this year's playoff games. It helps to actually click on it and look at it if you want to comment on it.

And I said, it's not about quantity but quality. Now do playoff only

You seem to have the playoff stats handy:

Why don't you share the source so we can look at a comparison of all the teams? The stat you shared just tells us that KC's defense is more disciplined than their opponent (and that's an obvious one since most teams playing KC are underdogs).

More like the refs are more lenient when Chiefs on the defense, bur sure you can interpret it however you like

I mean...I would take a starting running back who has over 1,000 yards on 4.9 YPC and 16 TDS...

Whichever quarterback is able to use their legs more will win the game

I pulled a nice crusade Patty numbered out of #99 from a 2018 rookies and stars longevity box last night.

Not a big card by any means but a beauty, thinking of grading it. I'll post a pic tonight.

Aikman is a well-established Mahomes hater. He was a sniveling whimper whiner tweeting noise about Mahomes years ago. Announcers without a giant axe to grind would point out that helmet-to-helmet, especially on a QB, is a major point of emphasis and the defender will almost never get the benefit of the doubt on it.

He had to swallow the bitter, bitter taste of watching Mahomes surpass his career rather easily. It was hilarious, HILARIOUS watching them snivel that Mahomes is a flopper then watch Mahomes unleash another beauty for the all-time highlight reel on the very next play. Truly, poetic justice and beautiful symbolism of all these clowns that hate on Mahomes and the Chiefs only to watch the Chiefs continue to dominate.

Aikman is no different from our resident Bills troll and the insecure Pats fans watching what they thought was a glorious dynasty for all time being surpassed in real time. Nevermind they are what they claimed to hate--yup you guys are the modern day deflategate and cameragate truthers. Also pretty frickin' HILARIOUS to hear BRADY BOIS (and Allen guys for that matter) complain about how someone else gets all the calls.

The fact of the matter is these guys just grasp at straws continuously looking for the next narrative to try and tear down Mahomes and wishcast his imminent fall. First he was Brett Favre or Russell Wilson and he was just an early career wonder, then it was well they won't keep drafting well then it was oh his contract will ruin their cap (remember, Fenway?), then it was blah blah ref blah blah let's see him do it without Kelce and Reid blah blah his stats are down blah blah Brady's contemporaries were better blah blah.

It must be hard coming up with all those new angles constantly. They get batted down so easily too. You know what they say though: Haters gon' hate!

Agree with this for the most part. The second RTP call was fine, the first was marginal.

And yes, Patty was bush league to flop on that OOB play. He's the most talented QB in the league, he doesn't need to pull that crap. Pretty pathetic actually. I wasn't impressed, and I like Patty.

I'd just like to see the Chiefs win a game without the supposed "help" of the refs. (I know, not their fault) but they have the reputation now, deserved or not, of having the refs in their back pocket.

Ironic that the Bills only had 1 penalty yesterday and the Ravens had 5.

The only reason why it's a thing is because the Chiefs continue to win.

Here's a list of all the teams that got 1st down calls on 3rd down MORE often than the Chiefs this season:

Green Bay
Dallas
NYJ
Atlanta
Tampa
Washington
NYG
Minnesota
Tennessee
Carolina
Seattle
LAR
Pittsburgh
Las Vegas
Chicago
San Fran
New Orleans
LAC

If we would look at the list of teams that got more 1st down calls on desperate 3rd and longs (typically what people complain about with KC) the list is even longer which is why I didn't start with it. Spoiler: Buffalo is #8; KC is #19. And we all know if Buf gets one of these calls next weekend our friend Delta and like-minded people will say "makes up for all the calls KC always gets!" when in object reality Buffalo gets those calls more often than KC.

The fact is the only reason why it's a talking point is because the Chiefs WIN. All of those teams above got MORE help than KC but they don't win like KC.

A few more points regarding the perception of KC getting all the calls...

Houston was one of the “dirtiest” teams in the league this year when it came to unnecessary roughness penalties and roughing the passer penalties. Heck they ended Trevor Lawrence's season on what some thought was the dirtiest hit of the 2024 season. One only need look at their head coach to know in that locker room toughness and brutality on defense is a focal point. I love that mentality but it does not go without consequences. Teams like that are not going to get the benefit of the doubt on plays that appear borderline in real time.

On the flip side, offensive holding is a penalty that could probably be called on every play. Surprisingly enough, the “team with the refs in their back pocket" were called more than any other team in the league for offensive holding. Similar to Houston with the roughing calls, KC does not get the benefit of the doubt regarding offensive holding. We saw that in the game this weekend with the bad call against Smith.

These coaches talk to officials about things to look out for prior to games. Those things are at the forefront of the officials minds during these games. The level of shock/outrage from the general public is so overblown at this point.

As for the Josh Allen troll in this thread, since 2009, only 2 QBs have received more roughing the passer penalties per game than Josh Allen. Fitzmagic and J. McCown. Josh Allen is a phenomenal talent and I love watching him play. it is unfortunate for this forum that one of his biggest fans is an immature troll because I feel it does take away from his success story to some degree.

Great points above. All you guys need to know about Mahomes Derangement Syndrome is that 2 years later you still have people claiming that this wasn't a hold

Yeah but it was at a non crucial part of the game, the end of the game. You can’t call that obvious penalty. Just let the players play.

The Eagles fan inside me believes you photoshopped that or it’s AI

I'm not here to argue with anyone regarding calls, as I think things even out, but there's perception and there's reality.

The reality? The Chief's don't get calls anymore than anyone else.

The perception: Yes they do.

I've actually heard that logic before:

"The refs help the Chiefs and it's not fair!..... but also the refs should have helped the Eagles when they broke the rules on the biggest play of the game, just to be fair!"

It's a further reflection on society... people don't want to admit they are losers, so they'll find someone else to blame rather than accept that things aren't going their way.

Also a reflection on society is how some people who win refuse to acknowledge that they had an unfair advantage and gained from a bad call, so they'll find a way to make excuses for why, ya know, it really wasn't a bad call rather than accept that they were the beneficiaries of a bad call....

It is quite fascinating from a psychological standpoint.

I'm a Brady homer. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind he got several favorable calls in his career because of his GOAT status.

Do I think Patty gets some favorable calls in his favor? 100% yes.

Brady got some calls, but get back to me when someone goes low illegally on Mahomes and ends his season in game 1 and doesn't get so much as a stern warning from the ref, let alone 15 yards, for it.
