hey guys, for some personal reasons (good), I've decided to sell some of my Bonds collection. I'm sure some of you know that if there's ever been a playing day Bonds auto you want/need, I most likely have it.

Feel free to PM me w/ interest.

FYI, not going to respond to inquiries that say 'send me everything', or asking to send photos without first getting an idea of what you're looking for (price range, card characteristics, etc.).

Once again, if you want it, there's a great chance I have it, but don't want to waste my time on those not seriously looking to deal.

For those of you who collect Bonds autos, how much of a difference in premium do you put between the fuller autos which are in more recent years versus the older versions where it's mostly B..B..S? I know it's kind to rhetorical but the difference in price in some of these autos are staggering.

His best-looking autos are probably from 2006 and 2017 Topps products. There are only a limited number of them, so they should command a sizable premium.

His first fully-licensed autos were the BBS version. The few ones released in the late 90s hold solid value, as well as the Upper Deck ones in the early 2000s with game-used patches. But the rest aren't particularly valuable.

Anyone into the Bonds Steiner stuff? Steiner's stuff is 100% legit just like UDA but prices are so cheap. And the autos are pretty full, not nearly as full as he signed recently but not the standard B.B.S. And on top of that, it has the additional Bonds COA stickers. I remember his signed bats could be had for about $250. Now they are about $500, still cheap IMO.

For sure, nothing beats on-card autos.

But if you're sole goal was to obtain a Bonds/Mays auto item with iron clad authenticity, you can't beat this. I would venture to guess that any on-card auto of both would be a minimum of $2k.

Curious that this is the second Bonds auto card with the Pirates from Topps this year and on both, they went with an image from his rookie year wearing #7, not the more familiar #24. Hmm.

Used up an expiring PSA voucher to slab this Legacy Collection. Happy with an 8! I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I prefer the 1998 Row 1 design over the 1998 Row 0 design. 1997 Row 0 is the absolute best to me.
