I haven't looked into it enough, but have a CD coming and hope it's legit.

I definitely need to see more of the CD inserts, maybe that was an outlier, but compared to other autos on the same size item its very odd. The vinyl insert very much looks like her normal auto. Fingers crossed.

I believe these were sold via Universal? Same company for auto-penned Jelly Roll and others….

The good news is looking at Ebay there are clear variations on her signature so I doubt they are all autopen. Hopefully not a secretarial sig.

I have been trying to investigate if my LP and CD of Carpenter are real or secretarial.

I have no credibility with her signature in deciding this however I found the examples in this video to be satisfactorily different enough that I do (personally) believe there are real and secretarial versions for this release. But please use your own judgement as it is a very quick example of her "signature".

It doesn't help either that Universal used the worst shipping company in the world and APC claims the cd hasn't even been picked up yet.

It is out there somewhere....

Robert Plant signed Art card with CD purchase £10.99 preorder

I was able to select a "with tracking" shipping option that knocked it down from £16 to £13 to the states. Before I paid, I was able to see 2 items in my cart: the CD & the signed art card so even though it says "while supplies last" it seems to indicate the signature during checkout.

Just curious — what do y'all do w/ the signed art cards? Keep them inside the album or display them somehow?

Depends on the artist. I have a few of my favorite bands displayed. The other thing I do is I bought one of those super terrible 2x2 CD albums everyone had in 1995 that they jammed CDs into and left to cook in their hatchback ... they never fit in there but I seem to be able to put them in sideways and label the pocket that they go in to ... a few don't fit and I put them in plastic ziplock bags and use a piece of tape to keep them in place in between the pages. That way I have something to flip through to look at them. I should really probably upgrade to an Itoya binder ...

Put em in pages in binders with my 8x10 autos.
