Have you read his recent comments?

He's out after this year. You're going to have no stars, no cap space and no future. Well deserved for someone like you!

Cool story brother, these articles have been out for years and years and it hasn't happened.

Why didn't Giannis request this trade that he wants yet? Weren't there people on here that were going to look like clowns come September? You probably didn't think you'd be referring to yourself.

You and all the other unhinged Bucks homers were saying Shams reporting was full of crap and Giannis confirmed it's true. He's out. Sorry brother.

Giannis is going to turn 31 this December. He is past his peak. He still has a few high performance years left, but time is ticking. He is has two years and than an player option. There is no world where he isn't going to opt out in two years. He will want a new contract regardless of what team he will be playing for. Bucks have a pretty bad roster and aren't competing unless they make some miracle trades. Giannis will have to shoulder a huge load these next two years.
In two years he will be turning 33 and with two years of heavy usage and on the decline. I don't know if his demand will be as high. Go look at somebody like Jimmy Butler and his production after age 33. He can join a winning team at that point and be a key player and not THE player. Any team trading for him will be thinned out with assets to get him. Bucks are going to want good value back. This year is the year to trade him. Next year will be a walk year, and Bucks will get rental prices.

Giannis will be on a different team by February or next season. He's trying to put down the Bucks fanbase lightly. Clear as day.

Yep, keep moving those goal posts again and again. You do it so much that your hope is that people just forget or don't even bother anymore.

4-5 months ago who was saying Giannis would still be a Buck right now (me) and who was saying he wouldn't be a Buck (you). FACTS

You read Giannis's comments, right? You know he's gonna leave, right?

Do you think Giannis is a Buck to start 2026-27. Yes or no question to that, ignoring the question = no, by the way.

Giannis retires on a day that ends in Y . Yes or no?

Ignoring this means I'm right and you forfeit posting in all threads with the letter E in it

If you want to be passive aggressive, feel free to quote me! I know he's gonna ignore the question because he doesn't want to answer. Sit this one out.

Beauty of the board is it was the next post of yours. No need to quote! It's going to be OK if he doesn't answer or not . The world will continue. No matter who is right. I noticed you didnt dispute my declaration. I award myself 4 points for it!

Ignoring? You can't even man-up enough to admit you were and have been wrong. Why not?

Yes, Giannis will be a Buck in 2026/27.

Yes oshmeehan, I was incorrect that he would be dealt in the offseason (it's not hard to admit when you're wrong, you should try it sometime!). It's still crystal clear he's gonna ask out and all the reporting you deemed fake news was correct the whole time. He's gonna leave, and soon. Very excited for that day, will make sure I find wherever you are for it!

Just to clarify, you DID read what Giannis said, right?

It apparently was very difficult for you to admit it, since you wouldn't willingly do it.

I've read much more than you have over the years about what Giannis has and hasnt said. If you did you'd know none of this is new nor would I be compelled in your shoes to make any bets regarding it. But hey, stupid is gonna stupid. Best of luck to you and whatever your wishes for Giannis' future is!

What's with your fascination of Giannis getting traded from the Bucks? And why such distain for Bucks fans that like Giannis on their team?

Really weird flex.

No fascination, I think oshee and packman are two guys who just choose not to be realistic and are far too blinded by irrational homerism. It's the internet, it's not that serious. It's just a fun game at this point.

However, anyone who legit doesn't think he's leaving just choose to turn a blind eye. Anyone with an objective look can see he's laying the groundwork like he has in the past except this time there is no Jrue Holliday or Dame Lillard coming to keep him in town.

What would be the point of Bucks fans to listen to the noise of "Giannis is leaving" the past several years before it actually happens? It would be weird for fans of a team to go multiple years just waiting for their star player to leave. I'm glad that Giannis has given his best years to the Bucks. They are a small market team that will not always have superstars like him, so it's very refreshing that he has stayed this long. I assume that he will leave at some point because almost every star leaves at some point these days, but until it happens, I don't see the point of Bucks fans sitting on the edge of their seats every time a "report" comes out.

Hopefully, Giannis doesn’t go the KD route.

That's not at all what I'm saying, those two (as well as probably a large portion of the fanbase) attacked Charania's reporting for no reason, only for Giannis to admit it was true.

I have nothing against Giannis if he chose to stay in Milwaukee his entire career, he's just making it clear that's quite unlikely to happen. I stated earlier in this thread there is no shame in how the Bucks have acted in trying to win (up until stretching Dame, that was dumb and will criple the franchise moving forward). They tried their best to win and they got 1, can't take that away, but the run is over and Giannis is gonna ask out. You just have to live with that.

There's no upside for the Bucks to keep Giannis at this point. He's the best player in franchise history and is responsible for two of the three banners they have (regardless of how people feel about the IST).

My guess is that they are waiting for a better offer before the deadline or this offseason.

Giannis isn't laying the groundwork to leave. Please @me when you are wrong once again after the February trade deadline and after the 2026 offseason. I'm sure you'll move those goalposts even more when Giannis is still a Buck to start the 2026/27 season. You're so hungup on this Giannis leaving thing that when Giannis does retire you'll probably gloat about how you were right that Giannis isn't a Buck anymore.

Top comment on that thread sums it up perfectly:

Giannis says this constantly but also seems willing to buy into any hope Milwaukee has. He’s under no urgency to leave.

Really, the only thing I see as far as going to another team is Giannis retiring (leaving) from the NBA in a few years and going back to Greece to play as his young children have relocated to Greece for schooling. Verlander will still see that as a "see I told you so!"

I wouldn't, that's just your mechanism I think for whatever bit you're trying to do.

You can't even admit to admitting you were wrong for trashing Sham's reporting as untrue when Giannis confirmed it was true.
