It’s obviously not about money, why are professional athletes getting involved in rigging bets?

On the contrary, it is completely about money. Not sure where that notion comes from it doesn’t, you aren’t seeing the superstar top players making or helping bets (except in baseball zinggggg)

Even if they were the superstars once you have money the intention is always to make more not relax because you live comfortably. This all boils down to the almighty dollar
