When he is in traffic he needs to put two hands on the ball even if it makes less mobile and easier to bring to the ground.

It could take tons of practice at it as it's in his muscle memory to hold the ball like a loaf of bread and try and break a big one on nearly every play.

Its actually pretty basic, his problem is he's getting to comfortable around the trenches. Those two forced fumbles are from guys bigger than him.

Video of Lamar Jackson punching Derrick Henry on the sideline. AI but still funny.

Derrick Henry is en frio. He had more yards in that week one game (that seems like a lifetime ago) than in the four games since. And only has two touchdowns since scoring twice in that game as well.

Teams not being threatened by Lamar will hurt his numbers, as will the Ravens just generally getting down big early since they abandon the run. To be fair, Cleveland, Detroit, KC (less so) and Houston is a murders row of games for a running back with all but KC ranking in the top 11 against the run.

He did get a cheap rushing touchdown to move into a tie with Sweetness for 5th all time at 110. And hey, he's gone two weeks without losing a fumble! That's a win lol

It all went downhill when he trimmed the Turd Wig.

How much help has the O-line given Henry? Like maybe less than zero. Its kinda hard to run through the constant solid brick wall by lack of O-line play.

Like Judkins did for the Browns yesterday? Who barely have an OLine?

Excuses

I don't expect a huge game while Lamar is out. Stacked boxes all day.

Henry wasn't able to have a huge impact on the outcome of the game, but had himself a nice individual day. Racked up 122 rushing yards and had a catch for 8 yards. First time eclipsing 100 since week 1. Fumbles aside, he's not having a terrible year. Averaging 5 yards a carry, which is top ten for running backs.

Lamar due back soon. See if they can't right the ship and get a wildcard berth.

Couple more touchdowns and 71 yards for Henry this week. Had to work for every inch that he gained with Chicago knowing they could load the box and not have to worry much.

Passed Antonio Gates and John Riggins on the scrimmage touchdowns list to move to #14 all time.

He just doesn’t look the same. We used to see him get these 1 yard runs with ease.

Ravens wanted to feature Lamar last night obviously, get that rust shaken off. Once they were comfortably up, they let Henry pound it and run some clock in garbage time.

He eclipsed 12,000 rushing yards, becoming just the 8th back all time to rush for that while also scoring 100+ touchdowns.

If he can manage 69 yards against Minnesota next week he'll move past Thurman Thomas and Franco Harris on the all time rushing list to hit #15.
