Wouldn't have made a difference...

They go up by 11 with little over minute to go and Florida has 0 timeouts...to go length of field, 2 pt conversion, onside recover, kick a fg...to force OT

Doable? Sure I guess...probable? Highly doubtful

Also...lol Ole Miss

Obviously had betting implications. Not that it matters, but I appreciate teams taking the points. It does look better. Virginia was in the EXACT same position as Georgia and ran it in to win by 10.

That’s the difference between a smart QB and a db trying to look good.

And yes I keep forgetting about your bets

LOL. I'm biased. That DB was the difference between 3-1 and 2-2. I was glad he wanted to look good

Bad news: The Mountain West is committing playoff suicide today.

They are basically all eliminated from the playoffs EXCEPT San Diego State if they can win out (currently tied v. Wyoming, 7-7).

North Texas at Georgia, anyone?

Let’s have a NIT tournament for the scrub conferences good teams and all the avg big conference teams. Would be fun to watch

Tennessee imploding at home is quite embarrassing..

Aguilar looked soooo good to start, but has cost us with turnovers against UGA, Bama and now Oklahoma

Still plenty of game left, but come on man get it together

Good run for the Jackets but they’ll be back down to being ranked 23 soon enough.

and a great chance to play in the ACC Title game where if they win they still make it. That said with 2 other teams below them losing dare I say both worse loses at that I think Ga Tech still stays in the top 12 or falls just outside. No chance they are going to #23 lol

I didn’t mean this week. By end of season. Probably 9-3. Beat BC and lose to UGA and PITT. lol

Mike Shula has been fired as offensive coordinator, and I use that term lightly, at South Carolina. Never should’ve been in the position to start with. If his last name wasn’t Shula, he would’ve been selling insurance years ago.

New rankings are up!! We are about 56 hours from no one caring about the AP rankings in the slightest, but I am still here for you!! How far will the Wramblin' Wreck fall? Can any G5 team join Memphis in the top 25? And can Massachusetts break in top the top-25 after not losing yesterday?? Let's find out!!

Biggest Gain: Oklahoma, Texas and Utah are re-inserting themselves into the playoff conversation, each gaining 7 spots to #'s 11, 13 and 17 respectively. No movement in the top 7 as everyone there won or didn't play. Washington is the only team to debut in the top 25 this week at #24.

Biggest Loss: Rocky Top is at the Rocky Bottom of the top-25, dropping 9 spots to #23. GA Tech, Miami and Cincy all dropped 8 spots to 16, 18 and 25 respectively. If we look at "Others" then your big loser is Houston who went from #22 to #33.

Best result for a loser: Not many top 25 losers this week, but the "best" result is Vandy who clings to playoff relevance at #15. I like their chances to make the playoffs if they win out but that's a big "if" with the Vols looming large down the road (both figuratively and literally).

Worst results for a winner: No one in the top-7 moved, so the following winners all stayed put: Ohio State, Indiana, Georgia, Ole Miss. Perhaps more noteworthy is Michigan who stayed put at #21 despite winning.

Other notes: Memphis remains the lone ranked G5 team, with James Madison lurking at #27 and SDSU at #29. It will be interesting to see how the committee places those G5 teams.

"With that being said, Gelb did confirm that Meyer will be advocating for current Ohio State wide receivers coach Brian Hartline to get a head coaching job this offseason."
Please wait until the offseason, Hartline

I hope they keep narcissist dabo through 2031. UGA is Clem’s daddy:

31 straight Clem drives vs. UGa with no TDs, only two FGs. That’s 10 quarters worth lol
UGA has won 8/9 games vs Clem (the one win was a 3pt fluke).
UGA owns the series 44-18-4 (nine of Clems wins came before 1915!)

Looks like no G5 in the PC top 25. The announcers will probably clarify it but I believe that they don't do anything during the regular season votes to mention a G5 team but if they have to, the final vote will go as low as they have to in order to get a G5 team in there. EDIT: They do mention whom their top G5 team is without ranking them. Currently it is Memphis.

Seems as though the PC likes the Big 10 a little more than the AP does.

For all the talk about focusing on SOS, when it comes to the Power 2 (plus Notre Dame), you simply get ranked according to record.

I predicted ATM to be #1. I was wrong, but I still think they deserve it.

UTSA vs. South Florida on right now.

USF up 14-0 without an offensive play in the game.

Pretty odd stat.

I think BYU's offense forgot to set their alarm. They have not shown up today. Not sure what the deal is. And Tech just had 2 easy touchdown catches dropped in the end zone at the end of the half. Been a good game thus far.
