If JJ (or anyone else) demands a trade, so be it.

That said, the pressure on McCarthy is enormous because the Vikings chose to pass on Darnold and Danny Dimes.

It would be interesting to see what KOC really thinks of McCarthy. He thought enough of him to draft him and let two strong QBs go.
And passed on Nix.

And traded up for another bust in Dallas Turner.

Too early for Vikes to give up on JJ. Admittedly it's been rough, but still.

Season over for Lions. Too many injuries. Swept by the Packers. Better luck next year.

Our defense was better with the replacements in.

Multiple 1sts, hundreds of millions invested in the DL, and they are all garbage

Welp. We had a good run.(good for lions lol). Turn out the lights. The party's over. Need a new OC Dan is a good HC not a coordinator. Need an edge rusher to compliment Hutch. Need Holmes to actually make some big moves to win now vs perpetually building for a future that may never come. Need to somehow keep the injuries from turning team into a mash unit every year. Not sure if thats just bad luck or something in the training/practice etc?? Lot of work to do.

So Lions fans. Is Dan Campbell a good HC or was he a guy just talking about biting kneecaps while his former OC and DC made him look good?

I think he is a good HC. He is trying to do both HC and OC right now which isn't working. He is a leader and motivator not a coordinator. They need to replace OC this off season. And beef up line on both sides of ball. We will see if they can do that.

Dan is fine. OC choice was a mistake. Lost a key player to injury on nearly a weekly basis. A lot of blame on GM for not addressing O-Line. Oh, well.

Bears are a very dangerous team with arguably one of the best coaches in the NFL. Will be interesting to see where they sit in the next five weeks. GB is still the favorites in most peeps eyes. Bear down!
Happy Holidays 2 all!

Good Head Coach. Terrible in-game manager. If he has full reigns on play calling, time management, and 4th down calls, just plan on him costing two games over the course of the season. Lions need a new OC in the off season.

Welp, did not see that coming. Congratulations to the Bears in getting the Eagles booed off Lincoln Financial Field. What is the world coming to?

I wonder if Johnson had an inkling of how far the Lions would fall off playing a first-place schedule before he bailed.

It was a great game from Da Bears, but to the fair, it's all about expectations.

Eagles are defending SB champs. Their fans expect a repeat.

Bears are coming off a disastrous 5-12 season (not to mention the two seasons before that). Most expected 8-9 wins total this year. So we're playing with house money, esp. after an 0-2 start.

Imagine if they had a halfway decent QB.

Packers are a mysterious team. Never know which one will show up to play.

The one that could only put up 7 against the Eagles or lost to Carolina, or the team that beat the Lions in Detroit. I think it's more of a case that the Lions are not as good as we thought. I think we will see who the Packers really are on Dec 14 in Denver against that D. If they do well and make it close, or even win, that would really say something. If they can only muster 7-10 points, that would say something else. Should be a good game

Who, Da Bears?

Caleb is more than a decent QB. I'd take him over any QB in the division except Goff. If you factor in salary, I'd take him over Goff, too.

LOL Williams can't carry Love jock. Williams is a mid QB at best. Williams is not a QB you ask to put a team on his back and carry them.

Doesn’t Williams lead the league this year in most come from behind wins?
I’m a realist…. I like Jordan Love…. but I got him as the 12th or 13th best QB in the league, at this point.
Good game…. Bad game… good game… bad game
I don’t think if there was a current draft of all active QBs…. he ends up being any higher than somewhere in the 11-15 range.
I think it’s closer than some think and Williams should only get better. Williams currently probably somewhere in that 15-16 range.

Let’s see how these two matchups play out over the next four weeks. Long way to go.

I do see the Packers winning at home next week, but I also think it’s realistic, the bears will win at home in three weeks.

I did put down some $ in Vegas ((August) of Pack winning the Bowl. 🏆

Currently Jordan Love is better than Caleb Williams. He’s just more efficient. But give Caleb time, Love has been in the league 5 years vs only 2 for Caleb. He was sacked 68 times last year vs 19 this year.

Ppl are saying that right now bc Love just threw 4 TDs against the Lions. But just a few weeks ago after the Panthers loss, the consensus would have been Caleb.

Considering this is Love's 5th season (3rd as a starter) and he's getting paid a lot more than Caleb, I would take Caleb in a heart beat over Love.

It’s pretty obvious who is more efficient though. Caleb uses his legs more. But other than that Love is better this year in the pass game. I wasn’t discussing their contract though.

Their stats are actually almost identical if we’re being factual
