As far as the rest of the team being upset that they are being given up on much too late to worry about that when they are 2-11. As far as benching him it should do nothing to his confidence if handled right, you yourself in an earlier post said he should’ve been redshirted but Daboll was trying to save his job. He has 8 or parts of 8 games under his belt and I really don’t know how much he would gain playing these last 4 games under coaches that most likely won’t be there next season.
What does Daniel Jones have to do with this? If anything, it proves the Giants as an organization wont hesitate to keep a young QB playing. Even when the team is trash.

Jones went 3-9 in 2019, his rookie year, after replacing Eli. Then 5-9. Then 4-7. Getting hurt each year and missing time. As soon as he could play, he did.

Yes, i said he should have red shirted. But he didnt. And they cant go back.

Here is an easy way to end this argument. If you are right, then the Giants will bench him and save him for next year.

If I am right, they will keep playing him. Let him gain experience. And audition to stay the starter in 2026.

Lets see what happens.

Yeah, maybe he gets his lumps out of the way now, and comes back a better QB with a fully healthy team entering 2026 to compete

Being the Giants they will play him doesn’t prove whether you’re right or I am. How about if they play him and he sustains a bad injury I am right see how that works. We will just agree to disagree we both have our points and I do agree with some of yours and at least I am not throwing any insults at you because we have a difference of opinion.

No, you are saying what they "should" do. You, some rando online.

If the Giants organization, in their professional opinion, do what I say they should do. That makes me right.

If their owner, coaches, GM, doctors and staff all think he should finish out the season playing. As its best for his growth, and best for their team to know what they have. That settles everything.

If they immediately bench him to preserve him for next year. I will gladly say you were right all along.

Also, I didn't mean to throw any insults. I like the back and forth. Not sure what I posted that you took as an insult to you. But that was not my intention.

The only thing you said that bothered me was after I put a somewhat thought out response your first sentence in your reply was you can’t be serious with all that. If I wasn’t serious I wouldn’t have typed it. I appreciate the back and forth also aren’t we both just some rando’s on a message board unless you are part of their organization that I overlooked. But seriously do you think Dart is going to be their quarterback going forward and if so do you think he needs to play a little less reckless.

Yes, I think Dart is the guy. Dart and Skattebo will be selling seats for the Giants for years to come. Both are horribly reckless. Which makes them fun, but not sustainable.

Cam giving himself CTE on every play makes for great highlights on SportsCenter. But not a great idea for his career. But due to their crazy antics, they both have made a name for themselves already.

With both getting hurt and missing games. Maybe they have their wake up call.

This year I wasn’t expecting much and Skattebo and Dart were making the games entertaining again. If their defense could’ve held the leads the offense gave them going into the 4th quarter this season could’ve been even more fun. I agree watching them play these last 4 games with Dart will be more entertaining than Winston or Wilson I will just hold my breath and hope he doesn’t get hurt. I think if everyone stays healthy next year and they put together a good coaching staff they should be able to compete for the playoffs.

I'm predicting it now, Cam Skattebo will go down in NFL history as another "what coulda been, if he wasn't so reckless and dumb" type players.

My money is on back-up RB Tyrone Tracy Jr., eventually becoming the guy in NY. I'm so sure of it, that I plan to pick up cheap singles of his during the off-season.

I don’t have any Skattebk cards yet and only have a Dart 1st bowman chrome in an Ole Miss uniform. I have a nice red and green prizm refractor optic rc of Tyrone Tracy Jr I haven’t bought much football this year but I will start picking up some eventually.

I made the mistake of using Tracy in DK lineups and they seemed to hate using him instead they leaned on Singletary
