And who knows… maybe that’s what lead to a parting of ways? O’s proposed a move to bullpen and Grod wasn’t happy with the idea? I guess we will never know. It’s a headscratcher trade unless something else was going on behind the scenes to lead to the pitching starved O’s to trade off their key pitching prospect of the last decade. |

I also feel like this will squeeze out playing time for Beavers. He is likely the odd man out if Cowser/O’Neill/Ward can stay healthy. Orioles also already have a logjam at DH if Basallo/Mayo/Adley split time there when not playing 1B or C. I assume they release Mountcastle but if they keep him that makes even more of a logjam at 1B/DH.

Parking is open for partial plan holders now. I was able to snag BC lot again. Initially I was told I’d likely be moved to FGH.

They need THREE top SPs right now. Toronto signed Cease, have hit what looks to be a stud in Yesavage, and the Orioles continue to do nothing about their starting pitching. I said they needed SPs all last winter to all my co-workers at the office, and while letting Burnes leave didn't kill them (he ended up hurt), they did nothing to replace him, and still haven't...we need something to happen very soon or 2026 will be a washout. |

I thought we were going to sign Jansen. I don’t watch much NL so I am not too familiar with Helsley.
It looks like Mountcastle will be back. That kind of surprises me. I agree we need to pick up at least one solid SP to bolster our rotation. |

Looks like we will see Mullins back at Camden Yards next year… he signed with Rays.

Will be interesting to see if Os make a serious offer to Tucker or Alonso...

I’d love to see an offer to Alonso. They need to shake things up. They are relying too much on the guys they drafted and let’s face it… many of those guys are underperforming. The window is now. The Yankees, Jays, and Red Sox aren’t getting any worse than 2025. It’s no longer 2023… let’s blow things up!
Also ditch Mr. Splash and the Splash Zone! That was a fun 2023 home run celebration during the 101 win season but time to move on as it was out of place during the 2025 losing season. The organization belongs to the players and not marketing. The players should be able to adopt their own home run celebrations in an organic and natural manner. They aren’t entertainers at Disney World… they are ballplayers. Mr. Splash should have been retired after 2023. Move on! |

Congrats to the O's fans. Alonso is a heckuva bat to pick up. If you're young players snap back to prior form, you'll give the Yankees and Blue Jays a run for their money.

Strong move in the right direction. And don’t disagree with moving on from the splash zone.

Am guessing some OF/1B logjam- Mountcastle, Mayo, Taveras, O’Neill, Kjerstad, & Beavers- will move for pitching. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm feeling Adley may be moved for pitching as well.

Do Adley and/or Mayo both get dangled? It seems hard to believe Adlley would be traded but the O’s are committed to Basallo long term. Adley/Mayo are probably the two players that have the most trade value.
At any rate, it doesn’t look like Mayo will get many at bats unless a key starter goes down or someone like Adley gets traded. If Adley gets traded, that opens things up a bit as Basallo would eat up the bulk of C starts and Adley’s once or twice a week DH stints go to someone else. Also, maybe Mayo/Westburg platoon 3B? |
