The guy climbing the skyscraper in Taiwan on Netflix got moved from Friday to Saturday and I'm seriously considering watching that over SNME...

This is where I'm at with wrestling right now

So tag titles moved from one job squad to another job squad. Tag division just has zero life to it.

I have a feeling that MFT's tag title reign won't be too long either - Tama Tonga's interaction with Shinsuke Nakamura from time to time seems to me that he might eventually split from the stable, whether or not he will be in the US title picture by that point.

No shocker Sami won to have a title match in Saudi Arabia at the RR. Just can't put the title on him. The same old boring theme of him being the underdog is played out. Have him lose and go back and stay in the mid-card rank where he belongs.

Drew retaining the WWE title at Rumble, then Sami winning the Chamber to get another WWE title shot at 'Mania is my guess.
I'd also guess that Gunther will lose to Styles, then win the Rumble match (if he does double duty) and set up a rematch with Punk for the new-WHC belt at 'Mania.

I see no way Zayn gets another shot at WM. More likely I think triple threat at WM between Drew/Cody/Fatu

Roman wins RR and goes on to face Punk at WM.

I actually think that Drew/Sami/Cody triple threat at Rumble is more likely at this point, given the opening angle at SNME last night. Drew retaining is still my guess though, with Jacob costing Cody the match.

I don't mind Roman winning the Rumble, but that will (1) waste the Cena win furthermore on Gunther, as he looks pretty much the same to me since then, and (2) Roman doesn't need the Rumble win to get into the new-WHC title match, or either top-tier title match, for that matter. Gunther winning or not, let someone else shine.

We will see what will happen for Sami after Rumble. I am more like 60/40 on him getting 'Mania world title shot.

Sami won at SNME meaning he gets title shot at RR now

I edited my previous comment.

I know. But that doesn't mean that *on paper*, he won't have another at 'Mania, unless he takes the title off Drew at Rumble. The 60/40 I mentioned is the chance of him getting the 2nd shot at 'Mania.

Fightful reports a now-deleted post from Nakamura on IG leaks Styles' plans for the outcome of his Rumble match.

I won't spoil what it is, but you can look it up.

I don't see Sami winning the title at the Rumble but I wouldn't be shocked if he wins it at some point this year. Honestly Im not the biggest Sami fan but I'd prefer he win the Rumble over Roman or Cody at this point. And they let Jey Uso win last year so anything is on the table now. And Roman doesn't need to be in ANOTHER Wrestlemania main event ever. I could see them doing Drew/Cody/and either Fatu or Sami. I still think they could do Punk/Breakker for the other title. The women I assume it's Bel-Air to face Jade in what will be a trainwreck of match.

Did Roman not say he's only got 1 or 2 WM in him before his contract is done and he likely retires? If that's the case WWE is going to try to get most they can out of him

The women Rumble side looks to be more up in the air imo. I'd guess Liv winning it but ending with a loss to Vaquer at 'Mania, causing unrest/more unrest within the JD stable.

Unless being a surprise or announced in advance, Sami likely won't be in the Rumble match itself. If he gets another top-tier title shot (provided that he doesn't take the title off Drew at Rumble, of course), it likely will be via the Chamber route.

I think It's Stratton or Belair winning the womens rumble with Liv having an outside shot.

Male I'd be surprised if anyone outside of Breakker/Reigns/Gunther wins. Hard to really say though given the total lack of any build to the show this year. It's sad. I went last year in Indy and had the time of my life.

I personally don't mind either of the three that you mentioned here winning, with the former two, even more so Belair, winning being a nice welcome-back surprise.

It's an assumption Bianca comes back, but her vs Jade would make quite a bit of sense. I would say Bianca as a face has become quite boring to me, though somebody has to be a top babyface on Smackdown.

Stratton vs. Jade makes sense too, given that Jade took the title off her.
I feel that Stratton is a natural heel, however.

After watching Unreal 2 and Hayes' comment about Chelsea Green's role, based on her work, she has to be a prime candidate to win MITB at some point. No?

Sadly, I feel like Hayes thoughts on Chelsea insists they have a ceiling on her that never wins MiTB or the womens top titles. Hopefully that view changes because she is probably the most entertaining female on the roster.

Yeah I was thinking Sami loses to Drew before the Rumble and then is a surprise entrant pulling double duty maybe?

Stratton is so much better as a heel. I was a big fan in NXT of hers but the "Tiffy Time" thing got annoying fast when she keeps saying it every few minutes

So what are odds AJ Styles loses at RR then shows up at TNA PPV in Feb for one last run in TNA?

Royal Rumble is full and Balor not let in....looks like setting the stage for one of the wrestlers being attacked and/or replaced by him on that day.
