Week 17 was enough for me to call this season a success.

We did exceed expectations, people though .500 would have been a great year for us. Plus we got a division title and knocked our rivals from contention, so I'll take it.

As for the off season, we definitely need a kicker. I think we could use help with both safeties, add a corner too. I love Demeco Ryans, but I think if we can get a stud MLB to line up with Kendricks, it would help shore up the run D. I think we should also target a physical and sizeable WR, so we he can draw some double teams. DJax is awesome, but he can get jammed and knocked off his routes, if we can create one-on-ones more often, he can be more effective.

I agree, but I think Maclin is a free agent next year. I hope he re-signs, but not sure the Eagles will pay him top dollar. Vick has already expressed interest in being a starter and that won't be with the Eagles. I think he is gone, because some team needing a QB will take a chance on him.

I honestly don't think we resign Maclin with the emergence of Cooper this year. Avant has been solid (as always) too, so I think we let him go. As for Vick, for selfish reasons I hope he gets a starting job elsewhere not in Philly. Too much talent there to be wasted sitting on the bench. Since Foles has the mobility of a boulder, I don't think there is much Vick can do to help out Foles other than be a leader to the team.

So who are the starters that are in their contract years that we need to resign or let go? Of course besides Jeremy. I'm to upset to think straight.

I hope somehow we can draft Sammy Watkins. I don't really want Maclin back.

I would love if we were to resign Maclin. Just picture him along with the rest of the crew.

Maybe: Maclin, Colt Anderson

Resign:Thornton, Cooper

I'm very surprised how much better Bradley Fletcher has been playing. I was so glad to see him leave the Rams. He was a PI machine.

I was stoked when he joined the Eagles. Read a stat somewhere that he allowed the least yards per attempt out of any CB last year, and he has played very well.

they drafted Henery couple years back

to spend a draft pick on a K is big but to do it a couple times in a short period, NOT GOOD

Harbaugh took the niners to the playoffs....unless you are counting his playing time in the nfl...
Either way foles is legit. Seems like safety or olb may be your biggest need.

Haha, I hope the Browns get him at 4. I'm perfectly fine letting Hoyer take over the reigns again. We don't need another disappointment at QB.

Need some run stuffing DT's. They got ran over last night and a DE that can rush the passer. Nobody is safe in the secondary except Boykin. Everyone else better feel the pressure of losing their jobs. Also, a nice big WR that can spread the field with his speed. I do like Cooper, he stepped up his game this year.

I've heard some Eagles fans saying that they would have rather lost all the games and gotten an early draft spot instead of just losing in the first round of playoffs LOL.

No way, beating Dallas and seeing the fans cry about it on here was good enough

For sure. Well, I drafted Sammy Watkins as the Eagles in my Madden XBOX league on here a few weeks ago, and let's just say if he is as good as he is in the game...we need him!

He is going in the top ten... so we would need to trade up which is risky because our defense obviously needs more attention. But I would love to see them snag him in the draft.

DeSean Jackson asking for a contract restructure after the year he has had. You see, this is the side of DJax I don't like. I think $55 million is more than generous, and the thing I don't like about players doing this is how they only ask for a pay raise whenever they do well. You don't see players like DeSean offering back money for his two poor previous seasons in 2011 and 2012. Just hope he doesn't hold out and become a distraction for the team. Good player, but I can name a lot more better WRs who are being paid a lot less.

In other news, if this makes you depressed at all...Patrick Chung is getting paid more than Nick Foles, Riley Cooper, Donnie Jones, and Connor Barwin combined. Makes a lot of sense haha

Yeah honestly, yes coming from me, Desean needs to shut up. He is being fairly compensated. 2011 and 12 were not so good for him. Play like this again next season then talk... Until then shut up... I don't like this side of him either.
