2007 Razor Poker case rippers - Page 3

Well I would like to get a case of this stuff but the 2006 stuff was so bad it turned me away from razor poker cards. But then I guess the 2007 wasn't so bad. I have to slots coming from the group break, we'll see how that goes I suppose.

I bought a case. Hopefully, there are enough rippers on this board that we can determine the short print single autos by comparing all of our case breaks.

Kirkoff -

This stuff should be much better than last years. No base cards this year. All cards will be one of the following:

Single auto, Dual auto'd, Quad auto'd, GU Auto, or a Cut Signature.

Cases/boxes are at a decent price as well. Good luck with your slots.

anyone have a hook up to try to get the sp list early? (if thats possible)?

if not then i like KenTyler's idea.... compare the breaks to judge what could be an sp.

True but even the autos from that release sucks, lucky to get 10$ for some. and yes the base cards were a joke.

I'll see what the group break is like and then see where the price is after that.

I found that the 2006 short-print autos sold for $75-$100, consistently. Somewhat surprising, since the product is easy to find with cases still readily available. I busted two cases and got all of the short prints, in some cases more than one of each, and three of the ultra-short prints, of which there are four.
Base sets are junk.
There are about 8 new autographs this year. Don't underestimate poker card collectors, they spend money.
And contrary to others, I made money.

judging from the last few non sports releases - seems like this is the case of a lot of nonsports collectors..

We went through this on the other board. You made money because you got in after the price collapsed on cases. Kudos to you for doing that, but I think full disclosure needs to be given so everyone understands.

Another positive is that most poker card collectors don't move on to the next product released like collectors of the major sports do, mainly because there isn't a next product.

i was just reading some of the old posts on this thread and I was thinking... is there a good chance that some of the cuts will NOT be 1/1? if so then you bring the 1 in 27 (11 cut names from the checklist) chance down a notch and makes getting a cut even "easier"

but then again it would all just be a pipe dream hahaha

anyone going to start guessing how much these cuts will go for? Anyone think they'll go for insane prices similar to other presidential cuts on sports card products? (1k+)

I have 2 cases coming and will be breaking one of them. I will help in determining the sps if need be. I didn't do o/n though.

Not all of the cuts will be 1/1's.

Also, the official checklist will be released in a few weeks. This will show what the SP's and Ultras SP's are. Kinda sucks, but we can compare notes here and determine what some of them are.

As long as there's a good reason for the delay, and this stuff is something special, I don't mind. It will be pretty disappointing if this product bombs after being delayed several times. Patience is a virtue. Let's see if that's true in this case. (No pun intended. Well, maybe a little).

Only reason I think it can be delayed is because someone didnt sent there stickers in. I know that this product wasnt going to have any redemptions, so I'm thinking thats the hold-up.

This is a little dissapointing though. If its true...
