I think our customer bases are also completely different. Selling on eBay is hit and miss. Instagram is instant money every day for me. I don't have too many super fat customers like that. I have one dude who's 2X and he buys up that, but bigger than that's a waste of my time personally.

I think you are right, you have this huge customer base that you use to instantly turn stuff into cash. The rest of us have eBay and a few local sales, so we take what we can get.

Another thing, being 3XL doesn't necessarily mean you are "super fat".

I didn't mean to sound like a dick. Just saying I don't have too many bigger customers. It's not been something that sells for me. And yes, I do this for a living and have for quite some time. I live in a nice four bedroom house that I just purchased with said money. Sorry if my comment rubbed you the wrong way, but I do have piles of crap that is indeed instant money.

Edit* and you're correct, 3X doesn't necessarily mean someone's fat. Poor choice of words.

Hey guys you all have inspired me to hit up my local places as I could use a little extra income too. I found a couple things today. A nice nike golf shirt and a redskins fitted hat. Anyone willing to help me out a little on pricing? I can't find another shirt like the one I got so I wasn't sure what to list it at. Here is the shirt:

Nah man, didn't rub me the wrong way. I think it's just that we do this just kind of as a spare time thing, and you do it for a living so we are looking at it from entirely different perspectives. That's awesome that you are able to make a living from doing this.

EDIT: And just for full disclosure, I'm not overweight at all, I just know people in 3X who are in pretty good shape.

Glad we got this figured out via DM. Folks I'm sorry if my asinine comments offended any of you. I didn't mean to come off as a turd burglar. Lets keep the fun coming. I've got some nice Nike Deion stuff to share tomorrow!

I'm 3x and super fat. Its how I know I'll get a premium, the options are limited for big dudes and they'll pay more to get it. I also live in the upper Midwest, we run bigger up here, so the teams I tend to pick up do much better than the teams that the hypebeast clients of other people have.

My clients would make you barf. Hell some of them I don't even understand what they're wearing. But as long as they keep buying, I will keep selling. These kids are actually paying me for Tommy Hilfiger overall shorts. Today's fashion trends are strange.

As long as people pay, I'll pick it up and provide. Every once in a while I see a shirt and say to myself "only a total douche would wear this" I can't get it into my cart quick enough. It always sells.

Yessir it appears to be brand new. There are no tags but the size sticker is still on it. I got it for 3.50 and the hat for $1 so I'm hoping for a nice profit margin.

Listing for other people as a favor always turns bad, I got a neg off a $3 card because it wasn't perfect that I sold for the friend. This is one you have to eat, you can ask the buyer to remove but people like that are not really open to logic.

Since it clearly says used in the auction and that was what he was griping about, report the feedback and ebay could remove it since the buyer was at fault.

Well, the back story is my brother amassed a pretty impressive jersey collection in high school, including Probably a dozen throwback, sewn authentic style jerseys with like 3 kobe lakers and other baseball and football jerseys. I sold all but this last one over the course of a year. It sold for just $25 but was listed for seriously a year. I mistakenly listed it as new, but the description I clearly wrote used with a few misc marks and stains, etc. I have to assume the buyer did not read the description at all. I will take partial fault for listing it as new, but that in no way warrants a negative, especially since I have close to 800 positive fb over 10 years w/o a single negative! I just ran into a nightmare buyer who simply Lacks the experience of handling this type of situation. A simple return and refund would have solved it. Ugh! I'm just worried as this might effect my Top rated seller score and discount. I tried contacting him, very politely, but absolutely no response. I sent a message to ebay, maybe Ill get lucky and get it removed, but my hopes are low.

I took my first foray into thrift shopping to flip today at a local good will. Here are my pickups.

First pick-up is an XL Yankees reversible Majestic Jersey. There needs to be some minor cleaning done.

Next is a Large Green Nike Air Wind Breaker. This too needs a little minor cleaning.

Now for my third item. I totally took a shot in the dark on this one, but I am hoping to get a nice return on it. The "hanger" tag and the back tag both are coming partially off, but would be easy fixes.
