For those busting cases, let us know how many base sets can be built. I am guessing two but if there are collation issues maybe not.

$75 for SC Chrome or $310 for Jumbo Draft... the difference in value on these offerings is mind boggling

You could pull straight dookie out of your SC Chrome box for that price and still get close to break even with some luck/hustle

Pull 3 Bums with little to no color to show for it from Draft and you are walking sideways for a week

I very much agree...
Keeping with the gambling theme.. it's like a $1 scratch-off lotto ticket with $XXXX jackpot VS. a $20 "Arm-length" scratch-off with a $$ for XX yrs jackpot.
Draft = Bigger risk and bigger reward BUT may take some time to get full value on those "winnings"
SCC = Less risk, smaller reward but (likely) faster "cash-out"

Regardless, where did I say that I was mad that I didnt make any money? I'm not trying to make money. I'm trying to buy product that me and my boys (5 & 10) can rip into over the holiday like me and my dad did when I was younger.

75 bucks I would have bought 2 if I was paying attention. The price difference between Topps and the presales of Ginter and this are ridiculous. Feel bad for anyone that paid almost 200.

Difference is Ginter is a very limited run.

SC Chrome will be widely made, its even in retail blasters.

Not even close to the same product.

I explained my point very poorly. Both Ginter Chrome and Stadium Club Chrome had super high preorder prices around 200 bucks. Topps then sold hobby boxes for wayyyyyyyyy cheaper. Essentially the biggest losers are people that preordered and likely the LCS. Going to stop by the LCS this weekend and I bet the Stadium Club Chrome will be nowhere near the 75 bucks because they paid way more.

I of course don't work at an LCS so I could be horribly wrong and they got an awesome price too.

Blasters out of stock on Walmart. Hope bots grabbed them for the inflated price and can't return. I noticed Walmart did the same with WNBA prizm and those are still sitting there. Hopefully they put them back down to MSRP.

I was contemplating ordering a few on a credit card with return protection. I've never used it before, but from what I understand if you purchase an item and the retailer won't take it back, the credit card company will refund you and you may or may not need to send the item back to them. Wanted to see what would happen and see if I could stick it to Walmart for being greedy...but that annoying voice in my head said "No...that's not really the right thing to do".

Found 2 blasters of SCC at Target - pulled a Dobnak auto.

Stopped by the LCS this morning. He was stocking hobby boxes. Asked him how much and he said $175 - hard pass. Came home 3 hours later and he had them listed online for $150.
