Lol. Oh well. The one for 7.5 never got back to me. Every option has dried up for now.

Wait for the correction since this was the first time bump for Star Jordans.

Don't think there's going to be much of a correction for any of the Star Jordans, but especially not for the 101. Been undervalued for far too long and people are finally waking up to that fact.

The way that market is going for Star Jordan isn't in a positive way right now. I see there are many listings with very unreasonable buy it now price coming out since the bump recently, but unfortunately some sellers have no clue how much the Star Jordans should sell. They think our buyers are stupid enough to pay whatever they ask... I have got multiple discount offers each day since these sellers want to cash their Star Jordans while this bump still lasts, but nobody is buying them for those unreasonable price. So, I think the market for Star Jordans is cooling off a bit which is a good sign. Again, I would strongly suggest to those sellers who are looking to sell their Star Jordans: A reasonable profit is better than no profit, otherwise you will only drag down the market of Star Jordans.

What's a reasonable price (in the current market) for the 5x7 dunk super? The lowest bgs 9 on eBay is 8.5k BIN. They sold for under 2k a month ago. I think more and more people, like me, are realizing that they exist . I don't want to spend 100k on one card, considering there's no true rookie, and that the more aesthetically pleasing cards are somehow cheaper, I really want to pull the trigger if I see a bgs 9 under 4k. |

ugh! This sucks. The 7.5 sold for $35K. There are no 8s or 8.5s. Now there are only 3 7.5s available with the cheapest at $60K.

I understand your point, but I keep receive discount offers from some sellers which they listed their cards way too high comparing to market price, and more and more Star Jordans keep showing up on eBay which isn't a good sign. Everybody is cashing them out and this will bring more supply which will drag down the market. Star Jordans aren't Fleer #57 and the Stickers, there aren't PSA and many other financial groups supporting the market, the only financial group looking after the Star Jordans is the fanbase.

Side note that altered Star 101 is up to $12k with 1+ day left. Makes no sense! |

Ive been educating myself this past month. I knew nothing about my cards before. But its crazy whats going on. My husband agrees that the card market is in a bubble and a correction is coming, but he told me one of the reasons he was targeting this card, was that the prices did not reflect what other cards were going for. Well it looks like all that is starting to change. He got all excited cause I never showed interest in this stuff before until now. lol!

About 20 some odd years ago there was talk of why the Star Jordan XRC wasn't as valuable. It was known back then that the plates were not destroyed, so anyone with those plates can reproduce that card. The only way to tell if you had the real deal was the cardboard stock. There was a glut of them that came out in the mid-late 90s that tried to pass as original, but the cardboard stock was too different, to "new". Just try to obtain a cheaper original card from the set to compare feel and look.
