I came across this forum and this thread on refractors/parallels and decided to join up. I got back into the hobby a few months ago. Found this one after so many years. I sold a lot of my cards several years ago to make ends meet, including the gold x-fractor of this card for $12.99 on eBay. I got this back today from SGC. It will stay in my collection and be the cornerstone of my collection going forward and serve as a reminder to hold. Found a 2004 Fleer Sweet Sigs Black 01/12 Tom Brady as well but I already consigned that one off for auction.

I'm working on getting PSA to approve this card for grading. These are still relatively cheap and rare. Just need to get it on the registry for the fellas that helped me do the research.

Pre-production promo with an error on the back. It lists his rookie season interceptions at 6.

Just got these back from PSA. Pretty bummed about the 8, but I see now the back centering is pretty bad. The front of the card is flawless except maybe a little top bottom centering. The rest were expected.

Not sure why I blacked out the cert numbers, but I see people doing that now.

If it's something you plan on keeping for a while, or just don't want to make it easy for scammers to steal your image(s) and use them to sell your card(s) on eBay/FB/IG or anywhere else - it helps prevent that.

And don't worry about the Brady '8' grade. His '8' and '9' refractors are where it's at, in the future, as more people get priced out of '10's.

Definitely can't go wrong with 8/9 graded Brady cards in the long run.
