Nice to see Justin and CT3 get their first homers last night.

Kersh can break the franchise record for strikeouts today.
He needs 4 to pass the great Don Sutton.

Kershaw 4-0 with 1.8 era after today's cake walk.
Tyler Anderson tonight, looking to go 3-0 himself.

Buehler entirely dominant in his 100th start, now 44-14.
Mostly singles and plate discipline for walks, plus good base running, adds up to 7 runs to finish the sweep.

No running away with anything yet, though.
The entire 5 team West division is above .500 thru nearly 30 games.
That can't have happened too many times before, if at all.
There's only 3 other teams over .500 in the rest of the NL.

Mets are first team in MLB to 20 wins.
5 teams with 19: Dodgers, Padres, Angels, Brewers, Yankees
TB, Min, Hou at 18.
Who gets to 30 wins first?

Say what you will about the relevancy of modern wins, but his record to this point is unreal.

Wonder what the all-time best record is at the time of a pitcher’s 50th win? Buehler has to be right in the mix.

EDIT: Okay, Dwight Gooden and Whitey Ford both went 50-16, so Buehler has a great shot to tie/beat that.

Anyone with fewer than 16 losses at the time of their 50th win?

Dodgers. Weak schedule this month. Get to play Pirates 5 times, the Nationals a handful. Their toughest opponents are the Diamondbacks. With the weak schedule so far should have a nice lead soon.

The trick is to make the good teams look weak, too.
At the end of the season, we'll know which teams were weak and which weren't.

That's the thing with the Dodgers, they often sleep on the "weak" teams and get beat from time to time, just like tonight against the Bucs.

The pitching from LA starters through bullpen has been great though.

Bellinger looks like he's back to being a black hole in the lineup (and after the solid hitting last night too, it's so frustrating), just like Muncy and JT...

One of those 3 have to get going soon...

Will Smith deserves clean-up…even on Austin Barnes/22 day.

5 walks, 3 k's, in 3 innings for Ryan P.
77 big league pitches, no run.
Dodgers late relievers with a rare stumble.
Lost series, but Cubs nice enough to beat SD.
Giants won big.
At home for four with Philly, then Arizona.
Need to pile up wins now with the tough competition...

Kershaw to the IL. Good thing they pulled him from that perfect game to keep him healthy!
