I'm totally on board with this, at the end of the day, MeelyPops and CardKahuna have the most to lose here.

LP is gonna make his money, ha ha laugh at me so what, I'm still a millionaire DB.

Shyne, I really don't know much about him, but I could see him just being like "gimme my money" and he's done with it and moves on.

I really hope MP and CK held on to their profits from this sale, cause that's a big pile of money to have to pull out of nowhere, especially when you just lost all your credibility in the hobby...

I don't get that sort of sense from Rattle at all. I don't think he really cares about that stuff and a big part of his channel is ousting scammers. His channel grew something like 4x over this I believe so I'm sure he is quite satisfied with that and being right.

If I had to guess I'd bet Gary asked him not to do a video yet and he doesn't want to burn that bridge. As dumb as Gary can be at times he still carries a lot of weight (pun intended) in the hobby even if he tries to play both sides all the time. Even if he did do a video it would just be a DM with a message it was fake, big spoiler for everyone and neener neener I was right. Doesn't seem like his style at all. If it's fake he'll do a video with clips, probably making fun of Steve, Meelypops and Cardkahuna and that will be the end of it. If it's real he'll analyze the hell out of it to either agree or disagree with their findings.

At the end of the day from the trailer it looks like everyone in the video that is opening this thing has something to lose and that is not good.

Honestly, LP should be sending him a gift or something for saving him $3.5 Million if what we all suspect is true but I don't see Rattle really caring about that.

He bought the case with cardkahuna. Brought it to BBCE to get wrapped. Then flipped it to shyne.

The second they put the knife into that seal and opened a flap that case is no longer considered a sealed factory case. That was what made this case (assuming it is legit) special in the first place. Now, best case scenario, he opens say one box inside that case and opens the packs to see what comes out and he’s left with five (we would assume are) legit factory sealed boxes. Still mega valuable but nowhere near as special as having the only known unmolested factory sealed case.

Maybe having the sealed case shouldn’t be as important as it is as the boxes themselves are the truly important items but that’s probably a separate debate.

Logic makes 100% sense.

But being how big this is in the communities eyes, does this get the trimmed Honus Wagner Treatment going forward if he does open one light pack out of one box and reseals the whole thing?

Would be interesting. Only if its real obviously.

-meely and ck buy it for sub-$100k from some sketchy seller
-they immediately get it wrapped by BBCE to add a level of "legitimacy" to make up for numerous red flags
-they sell it to shyne for $2.7M ($450K/box)
-shyne sells it to LP for $3.5M

Radio silence from all the parties involved except from Logan Paul tweeting the video yesterday and Rattle liking and retweeting the tweet. If this was a real case, they wouldn't be hiding like they are now. They will never talk about this again and hope people forget about it.

People throwing blame around and Steve Hart looks like a fool. This is the best entertainment in trading cards I have ever seen! Anyone that purchases cards and does breaks with Meelypops is a fool, he will financially see the hurt on this. PSA is probably on the phone with Steve Hart asking him to return all the sealed Pokemon product he has and will never allow him to grade Pokemon ever again. They might also seek payment from him if customers complain and seek refunds from sketchy BBCE authenticated Pokemon products.
