Part of me thinks the Blue Sapphire with the Braves Blue is better. But that red does pop...wow.

OP thanks for starting this thread. Lots of good stuff in here!

I have this in a 5, I've always found it one of the more aesthetically pleasing T206 cards.

Several of the Hall of Famers used this off green color. I always liked it as well. I really like the Chief Bender with this background.

Rounding out my favorite Southern Leaguers is none other than the beautiful Carlton Molesworth.

Given the artwork and its role in a series highlighting sporting events from around the world I’m partial to the 1929 Churchman’s Sports and Games in Many Lands—Baseball.

The card doesn’t mentioned Babe Ruth specifically, but the image on the front is hard to deny. It’s also cool that the batter, catcher, and umpire are all on the front from a side angle. The brief explanation of baseball on the back is neat too.

Also the entire 25 card set has pretty elegant and detailed artwork for sporting events I had no idea existed. Almost 100 years later and the set is still educating!

I don’t have the card, this is just a random front/back I found online.

I don't have any vintage nor do I find it especially interesting but wow, this is gorgeous!

When I first saw the card I thought it was kind of a bummer it didn’t mention Babe, but now I think it’s cool.

That’s awesome! Maybe one day I’ll be able add one. Ever thought of completing the set if you haven’t already?

Fleer and UpperDeck were two of the most innovative companies for the NBA during the mid to late 1990s. The Skybox were beautiful cards especially the Precious Metal Gems. Fleer folded during the early 2000s and Uper Deck bought the rights to their brand. PMGs were produced by UD again and in my opinion, love this card especially when looking at it live.

After reading and posting in this thread, I realized I needed to get the 1953 Bowman Color Pee Wee Reese! I just got it in:

1953 Bowman Color Pee Wee Reese (PSA 1.5)
