This is false. The more PSA 10, the more valuable the cards are to the end user. You don't get that huge premium, but a lot of small premiums makes up for it. This phenomenon is most apparent in Bowman Draft Autos. The Super is the card everybody talks about, but the base provide significantly more value.

Yeah I was tracking for a bit but it was too depressing. I may try to track the Gem rate on the rookies to see where things are falling out. The one thing working in the favor of folks who sent stuff into PSA is that we may have a 3 month window to sell if we ever get our cards back.

I'm done with Series 1, unless I find Walgreens hangers. I found 2 last night and no yellows of note. I've now found 4 yellow hangers total and pulled Madrigal, Dalbec, Giminez, Patino and Mountcastle out of the first two.

Bring on Series 2 for the love of God.

Does anyone own a RC advanced stat parallel /300? I haven't seen any RCs with it, starting to wonder if any of them have it.

Did a completed search on eBay and couldn't find any, no active either...

Check the pack odds. They should be 6x more likely than Mothers and Fathers Day /50. Otherwise they didn’t make advanced stats for every card. (They didn’t last year either. But it may just have been team cards and checklists that were left out.)

I guess it kinda makes sense. If they don’t have any stats, hard to have advanced stats.

This is actually the first year that RC logo cards even have MLB stats on the back - cuz there was no MiLB to make stats last year.

Even when a player has MLB stats from the prior year, they were never previously printed on an RC logo card. Because, rules. I think?

2019 Flagship RCs had advanced stats cards, but 2019 Update RCs did not... 2020 Flagship and Update RCs had advanced stats cards... no solid confirmation as of yet on 2021 RCs as I haven't seen any at all. You'd think at least one copy would of surfaced by now.

That's interesting, I will check out a scan of one of those.

I hope the MLB stats on the regular RC cards continue after this year. The whole minor league only stats cuz it's a Rookie Card is kind of silly.

I just ran across an ebay listing for a "purple parallel" and it is numbered /50 but I can't find this parallel on any of the official checklists. The only parallels numbered to 50 are Fathers Day Blue and Mothers Day Pink. They posted pictures of it so is it fake?

Meijer (Midwest store chain) has blister packs that have exclusive purple parallels. It may be from this parallel set.

Had to run to a neighboring town about an hour away to pick up some AC equipment for work and stopped by Walgreens. Someone left a single hanger of Topps on the rack. So I had to pick it up. Just opened it when I got home and glad I did.

The talk has been that the 2021 SSSPs had a print run of ~10 each. My own voodoo math actually syncs up with that, but the fact that there are NINE Griffeys on the bay right now does not.

Someone was doing the math earlier in the thread and came up with a number of ~40 for the SSSPs.

I don't know if it's just me, but for some reason unnumbered SSP's always feel way more rare than numbered short prints.

That's because over half the people who open flagship don't ever know what they have - so many SSP's get tossed into a box to never see the light of day again, or thrown away because they weren't considered one of the few "box hits".
