No that's not vintage either. The correct definition of vintage is like pre 1980.

People like to buy newer stuff. Every year people chase the rookies and second or 3rd year players. That's the way it's always been and i don't suspect it will ever change.

Back to prospecting

You could take a gamble on player A. Who is a highly touted prospect, was good in college but you aren't really sure how they'll perform in the NBA.

Or, you could bet on player B. Also a highly touted prospect but this player won the Euro MVP at 18 (never been done before), ROY in the NBA at 19, and now setting the league on fire at 20 in his second season.

They're both gambles but one has better odds of paying out in the future.

I don't like die cuts, so I wouldn't want the Giannis. And the color is ugly. I'm probably not the only one who feels that way.

Durant is a diva with more Instagram burner accounts than good achilles, so I wouldn't want that one.

Looks like I'm going with Luka.

I'm sorry your Durant cards aren't worth as much as you want them to be. Next time buy a player who is endearing.

If you have the opportunity to buy a Light Blue Die Cut 9.5 for $2000... You'd be crazy to pass it up. A 9 ends tonight and it will hit $1800 easy. If you buy it for $2000... You'd already be making $1000... So that would be a great investment.

LeBron didn’t make the playoffs until year three in a weak East. But the sky will be falling for Luka if the Mavs are only a mid-seed in a West that’s stacked with the Lakers, Clippers, Rockets, Nuggets, and Jazz.

That blue Luka is by far the nicest looking card. Durant /199, Giannis diecut /199 don't have anything on the blue luka.

Those blues are GORGEOUS. I had to settle for the poor man's blue (fast break). There's something about it matching the Mavs jersey that makes it one of my favorites. Congrats on an awesome collection.
