I'm with you. Why start it in the middle of the season? They should have made them available from the start this year.

I think with any of these new platforms, you have to create a base of actual collectors who will maintain interest beyond a flip. If your main audience is looking to score a quick buck, they'll come in quickly and leave just as fast when the well is dry.

Also, they need to improve their current platform/marketplace before introducing something new.

There is about 20 people left trying to singlehandedly keep Panini Blockchain from collapsing. They did release news on Discord that they are now partnering with Cryptoslam and this will go live on 10/25. This news will be put on Panini's twitter later today.

This is what happens when things are linked to PayPal and credit cards. Just unlink your account before the auction ends and you don't have to pay. Panini won't punish you as well.

It was just another huge bummer as far as this platform goes. I was overjoyed when I received the bid notification, and nearly blew a gasket after I saw it ended "without a bid". Been a rough go so far. Hopefully they step it up so I can bow out with a bit of dignity.

After crypto payments (it's happening as promised by the Panini staff) is setup which is correlated to NFT and the S1 NFL packs dropping soon (this year confirmed by Panini), I believe Panini NFT will take off. CryptoSlam will bring in non-card collectors into the Panini Blockchain ecosystem due to the sales rankings after the setup of various crypto payments transaction methods (multiple cryptocurrencies can be used on the Panini Blockchain) - this platform will bring in various groups of collectors and investors together not just people in the sports cards market only. If Panini decided to add sports cards to the NFT utility as a giveaway or part of the challenges, it could be the future of collecting!

Yeah I'm not sure why I'd choose Panini over TopShot at this point. At least Dapper is a crypto company from the beginning. Gives me some confidence in their Flow blockchain. They are definitely in it for the long haul.

Partnering with CryptoSlam doesn't move the needle much for me but I guess it's something. I have a few baseball and UFC Panini NFTs so guess I'm invested.

I'm done after 1 week on the NFL instant pass. They delivered the single cards like 12 hours before those who ordered sets, which makes absolutely no sense. Panini will never learn that everybody needs to be treated equally.

Panini doesn’t care. Their only goal here is to make as much money as possible. This NFT crap was nothing but a very fast cash grab. It appears to have worked very well for them.
