My legs, feet and hips hurt. I have had to move in then out two people. Sadly, they couldn't follow the rules. It's always so sad when that happens. I really feel for them. We also moved out someone into their own apartment.

Last time we lost power, I noticed they had a backup generator there. So do a lot of grocery stores, since a power outage could cost them a ton of inventory. Wendy's and Taco Bell provide cheap places to charge too.

Our last hurricane taught me a lot. Charging isn't a problem. Expect more Boo. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

On top of that, don't most people have phone chargers in their car? Even I have one of those.

Whoever put BNut in charge of that should be strung up by their toenails and stoned with wadded up 2003 Sage Seneca Wallace rookies. Some things are THAT important.

He volunteered if I recall. This happened when BNut was semi-responsible. That was the start of the downward slope he's been on ever since. Note that he is in freefall now.

It would be fixed if I had married a man who was handy, but I didn't. Dunno what they teach at UF but apparently it wasn't car wiring. Grrr.

If it was important I'd fix it right now. I do all of my own car maintenance, plus my hubby's too. It's not a money thing, though we don't have Azzjubles kind of coin. It's more about not trusting anyone else and self-reliance. I'll change my own oil for a long as I drive a car.

Four days without AC is an eternity certain times of year. Glad you had options.

Hubby and I slept in his car and ran the engine for AC off and on all night hoping the power company would rescue us soon. When we finally got word it would be at least another week, we knew we just had to get away for a bit.

Hurricane Katrina was the longest we have been without power about 3 weeks. We have a generator now but have never had to use it.

We are talking about the natural biorythms of the Blowpit ecosystem here. One slip-up could cause chaos. Two slip-ups could cause the extinction of several BlowPit species entirely. Maybe the whole Pit.
