Had my front breaks/rotors/calipers replaced at the dealership on Saturday. Front of car started shaking with a thumping noise when I was on the highway yesterday. Brought it back to the dealership for them to take a look this morning.

Can’t wait to see how they pork me.

Glen I saw the deer was gone last night, I hope you had a nice dinner. If you need breakfast I saw 2 dead opossums this morning on the road near where you picked up the deer.

Growing up, my Mom thought it was gross and would never make it for my Dad. When I was a teenager and they were divorced, my Dad and I went to Florida to visit my Grandparents and my Grandmother made it. I thought it was really good. I think I've only had it one more time since then though.

Power is back on at work.
Lots of roof damage to buildings near us but ours is okay.
I will get up there to check everything out in a little while.
Two large pine trees toppled into the parking lot.
Lots of damaged trees in the lot next door.

I checked the mockingbird nest and the three eggs survived!
Momma bird was watching me with the evil eye.

Still no schools open and over 100,000 customers without power.

I've got to get my brakes done too. I probably will not have them done at the dealership.

Pics of downed trees for us to see what it will look like when Mike Dik falls down?

Car has 170K+ miles on it. I’ve had all work done at the dealership with no issues until now.

I just had my most productive employee throw a hissy fit like a baby and go home because he screwed up and did something for the customer that is in the scope of another contract, not ours, that we are feuding with and now I'm having to answer to the Government Lead about it.

I used to have Hyundai do all of my maintenance when the dealership was closer, but I've never needed brakes until now and I'm not sure if I would take it there or not. I've had brakes done at Sears Automotive (now long gone) and NTB on other cars.

Looks like you might have to do some work!

Wife wanted me to have them done at the local mechanic that just did her brakes, but I had a 15% off service coupon at the dealership.

I'm not allowed to do work; management only. I also don't have the privileged user accounts to do the work.

I'm waiting for my boss to come in so I can discuss with her the response to the Government Team Lead's e-mail.
