Had a busy day with my son went to the movie Garfield then visited my wife at her sisters .stopped at the Walmart by her house they had 5 2022 WNBA prizm boxes at 10 dollars each and then stopped at Mugshots for dinner. Just beat 5o’clock traffic and got home a little while ago. Rangers game starts at 7.

Bubble hockey, aka Chexx Hockey with figurine players controlled by levers (usually USA/USSR) is not the same as air hockey, which has an open surface and involves circular paddles striking a floating disc back and forth.

Something must have got them.

This is why birds' nests should be left alone.

I know my wife feels like she is under house arrest at her sisters as she offered to take a ride to Brandon to pick up my new glasses tomorrow. She still can’t drive for another 2 weeks so she just wants out of the house bad if she is willing to go on a ride with me.

I hope it's going somewhere further. Yesterday at the movies, her daughter wanted to sit in the middle, when we went to the SEC women's tournament, her daughter wanted to sit on the end next to her mom.

I'm still trying to work through the whole handling going places with a single mom and her child. I don't do the holding hands thing with her because I don't want it to weird for her daughter seeing it. I'm going slow with stuff to make sure we are all comfortable with it.

There’s a documentary about the LA studio team called the Wrecking Crew I thought was excellent. They were the actual backing band in a good chunk of The Beach Boys best recordings. The gal bass player was especially awesome. They also backed a ton of other classic recordings from the era including Mrs. Robinson and a few other Simon and Garfunkel classics. Great musicians and great songs.

So many great musicians we hardly know anything about.

Sounds like a good plan, but at some point you're going to need to separate them long enough to make your move.

Maybe find out when the daughter is busy and invite Mom out to something going on at that exact time? Or maybe there's an opportunity for a more-than-friendly move while the daughter has stepped away for a minute? But that's a lot of on the spot type pressure.

Are you willing to risk the friendship to see if it's more?

I'll have to check that out. They had several members of the Wrecking Crew in the Beach Boys documentary too since they were so pivotal to the music. They had the girl bass player in the documentary and one other guy.

You're lucky. I had 3 kids to deal with while dating. I never got to sit next to my now wife unless it was in the car or we were alone. Kids can be very territorial.
