The only purples I collect now are the Meijer purples. I embrace that particular retail stain

I identify with this (and also loved Eric Davis). I can vividly recall the smell of '89 UD. '90 Leaf and '91 SC. Same for '84 Topps, '87 Topps, '88 Score, '91 Donruss and Fleer (oof!). While I can't place specific years, the smell of Sportflics and Topps Big still resonate.

I used to feel that way too. But in no way should unnumbered base be going for more. I actually like the purple and green colors too. Just underrated in my book. Used to be only a blue Gold red guy but no longer. The premium on those are just crazy. The Greens in particular I really enjoy especially since it’s 50 less than blues

What does a purple refractor Ohtani rookie auto go for?

From what I’ve seen, the purple TC autos have been going for $5-6k in a PSA 8, roughly $7-8k in 9 form.

Looks like auctions across the board on Ohtani RC took a hair cut on Sunday. Not sure if it is the injury or just that time of year (Judge RC have also been trending down in auctions).

Yeah, there were some breaks in price last night. I think a lot of it came down to no baseball and basketball/football primetime games.

Surprisingly won an unlicensed UD auto that I entered a just in case snipe on .

Nice. I grabbed the same Mantle in a PSA 3 recently. I like the gold Sho/Betts!

I love the Sho/Betts card. I'm probably going to end up with way more parallels of that thing than I should but I can't help myself!

Feeling good that even if the Dodgers win the WS there will be some buying opportunities this off season based on the current market.

Still expensive even if they are not as popular

Good times!
Sounds like you took a page from the Barry Minkow school of business.
