I had someone make me an offer on a card. I went to accept and it said that it could not be accepted at this time as the buyer does not have sufficient funds. Can anyone explain how that is possible?

3. I won't budge Port - Port that almost seems worth it, but no offers are accepted on the high asking price

4. It's already for sale Port - Port is priced too high, then has a 75% off sale going on the individual items while simultaneously asking for 50% of the original price of the port.

5. Oddball Port - Port has a bunch of weird stuff that no one really wants or knows what the value may be, but pretty sure it's mostly junk and hopes someone bites.

6. Museum Port - a bunch of expensive stuff priced to the moon and willing to take 10% off.
I think you left out one port out.

7. Dump port - Price is fair but not a lot of meat on the bones if you price them fairly. So you really need to get them down more if you do not want to hold on to them for a long time. These ports go fast if the sellers are willing give a little.

Several years ago, when I was really looking into buying a port or two. I seen all of types of ports. You have them pretty much in order. I did not buy any.

May have bought something after he sent the offer to you and ran out of credit.

That doesn't make sense though. The funds that were committed to the offer he made to me should be tied up. I am still confused. Even if he had some cards processed, the funds should still be available for me to accept. I really cannot come up with how I am unable to accept.

This type of port is great. Sellers eventually do come down and money can be made.

8. "Buy my entire processed" port- some sellers will price their items from cards that they have sent in and immediately put it into a port sale. These ports usually go pretty fast as they are not huge and they have little junk sitting in them. These ports usually cost more to purchase, but have a great potential.

The only thing that I can think of is that COMC will unfreeze the funds in the event of processing fees, storage fees, or a returned item meaning that they need to pay. IMO, if that is the case it would be reasonable policy for them to prioritize funds that are owed to them over an offer that hasn't yet been accepted.

8. The Ship Has Left the Port- Similar to the "12 Good Items Port" but this port contains only cards that that most wouldn't bother sending in the first place. The price might be reasonable for the quantity, but any item of redeeming quality was sold or never existed in the first place. This type of port will feature 1988 Topps Will Clark, 1993 Score Mark McGwire cards, and maybe even a Tim Hudson GU card. Also known as the "Garbage Port".

So is there an actual way to get customer support with COMC?

Just gotta keep sending the email and hope they eventually respond, usually takes awhile.

Apparently you can also request a phone call with customer service, that takes place like a month out, although I’ve never tried that.

My shipment request with original ETA of 2/4 shipped on 1/23. Very good. Since that one shipped, I opted to get another requested. Shipping out over half a million cards a month is impressive in my opinion...

Tracking: Not Shipped Yet
Date Requested: 1/23/2025
Estimated Ship Date: 2/28/2025
Items Ahead of My Order: 562,520

Getting emails for Promos but nothing for Items Added, daily sales or offers. System wide issue?

Not sure if mentioned elsewhere, looks like they raised PSA grading price $1 to $23. I figured they would do that when PSA announced price increases in the past week or so. Even with that info, I failed to submit a few dozen cards I had in my inventory.

Kind odd how comc works with the shipping- the ETA of my economy shipment placed early Jan is 2/6, just two days after your ETA, and I still have 215k items ahead while yours shipped 2 days ago. Maybe it depends how many cards in the shipment and they accelerate ones through with lesser cards sometimes? Idk. With 215k cards ahead I expect mine to go out the 2/6 as they originally stated.

Meanwhile in terms of wait times…my comc grading subs are almost never meeting anything near the estimate, whether it’s PSA or CGC, but what else is new with that.

I put in for a large shipment last night (over 2700 cards). The estimated ship date is 3/3 with 565,000 cards in front. We shall see...

I got that exact same email and came to this thread to ask the exact same question.

Is this a new thing? I've been selling actively on comc for 5 years now. Never heard anything about this.

Is there anyone on the forum anymore to talk to that works at COMC? I am having an issue with a card.

I bought a raw card, had it graded, and then shipped to me. The case was scratched. I was told to return it to have it recased. I haven't received any updates for two weeks, and now it shows up in my account as returned to the original seller with a refund.

I didn't want to return it; I just wanted it recased.

I haven't seen anything like this before. A couple years back, they started assigning account managers to large COMC accounts, but there was little reason to contact them, and pretty much any time I did, I had a different account manager than last time.

There was one offer a while back that I could get something like 35 cent processing if I sent in like 100,000 cards at once but I didn't take them up on it.

This one sounds much more interesting. Just the 20% off on submission fees changes the math considerably when digging through boxes.

Yeah, some time ago, I remember people saying they had an account manager. This is a PREMIER account manager! Interesting.

Wonder what the cutoff for sales in 2024 was to get this. How many cards sold or how much in overall sales

I got the same email. It was in my spam folder so I didn't see it at first.

If legit, this could be really great.

Same here. I wonder what made us eligible for this. Like the specific numbers or w/e. I was excited until I came here and saw that it's not an existing program. Sometimes new stuff with COMC does not go as expected. I know this is news to most of you

Got the same email and was quite surprised. Lowest sales year (not even close for me) since 2019 when I wasn't really sending in many cards.

It's an existing program. I've had a "rep" for many years. I will say that 90% of the time it is pretty worthless. I had a harder time getting with my "rep" last year than I did with regular CS. Come to find out, my "rep" had been switched. I got no email, no notice of any kind. Then I finally got a response, got the new email address of my "rep" and he in turn basically ghosted me after 1 reply . On my 3rd "rep" just last year, yes...it's got changed again...I finally got lucky I guess. New guy responds when I email, which isn't often. I will say though, I mostly still just use the regular email when I have issues(again, that's not often).

Cut forward to today and I have the same email for my secondary account. Guess we'll see if they ever really do roll out any of those perks it's promising(those are new). Oddly enough, my new "rep" for my secondary is the same as my 3rd "rep" from last year...the "good" one . Fingers crossed they follow through on the perks!
