Myrtle Beach is closed, don't come down here. Seriously though, Myrtle is a poop show right now. They had a road rage murder last week and huge crowds of teens causing havoc. That's why I only go in the winter.

Not sure. Everyone has different dates for the last day. The 2 people on my team wouldn't have their last day until mid-July. I have a heard a lot of people are planning on leaving. I'm just waiting for that conversation with my boss to see how many. They have until this Thursday to decide.

That whole week is known as "Black Bike Week." We vacationed in Myrtle Beach that week during COVID as it was one of the few vacation spots open. The crowds were more than I had ever seen in any other time we vacationed there. So was the police presence. The one night we were there, someone was shot 2 hotels down from the one we were staying at.

You couldn't pay me enough to go anywhere near Myrtle Beach from May-September. I have a house 2 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from Hwy 17, and I wouldn't go down there this time of the year.

Myrtle doesn't attract the best parts of society. IF I was going to the beach this time of year, it would be Isle of Palms or Hilton Head.

I should have asked to rent from you for the 4 days I'll be there. The hotel prices are ridiculously stupid and I'm staying by the mall and nowhere near the beach. I'm not even going to be in the hotel room all day long as it is; just sleeping at night.

Just bought a Heath Benedict Senior Bowl auto card. Heath was a college classmate of mine at Newberry College, and was projected to be a early day 2 pick in the NFL. He sadly passed away right before the draft from a heart issue. This is the 2nd copy I will have, it's the only 2 copies I have seen. They didn't issue auto cards, but people got them signed at the Senior Bowl.
