Oh man. You are really the biggest homer. And I don't mean that in a nasty way.

The difference between the first 2 games and the last 2 are massive. Dallas is getting better looks because the ball is moving more and the defense isn't just being able to lock in on Luka.

He still has some possessions where he runs everything and makes a play, but he's not burning 20 seconds first so the defense isn't exactly sure what he'll do.

The first 2 games his team doesn't even have a chance to get an offensive rebound as it's so easy to box out.

Chalk and cheese. Luka was a much better playmates last game also. The poor shooting was a sign of a lot of poor shots. Once he gets out of his own way he's going to be truly unstoppable. Crazy how good this guy is.

I missed on all my Luka snipes last night - first time that's happened in a while.

I'm just grabbing Galactics when I can.

Nice! I've been targeting the sets I think look the best. Some of the insert galactics are blah to me.

Maybe we should work it out so we aren't bidding against each other lol.

I agree about some being blah.

I do like the Shockwave in the pic though. Whereas I don't like the shockwave from 18/19.

I also don't like the Supernova in hand. Still, I don't think you can go wrong as they just don't pop up often.

I rewatched the first quarter last night and you're right - much better movement altogether. Good call.

That bodes well for the rest of the series - not just hoping the role guys come out hot.

This video also pointed out some of the improvements and adjustments Luka ("Donacic") made. Right now it seems like Kidd/Luka are out adjusting Williams/CP3 - it will be a fun game 5.

Honestly think it'll come down to how the refs are calling things early on. If Dallas can be physical on offense and get PHX in foul trouble or just take advantage of being physical, Dallas will probably steal it.

If the non-Luka Mavs go 19/34 on 3s again, they'll win.

Good news:

-they're getting wide open looks and if they don't, that means Luka has more room to operate
-if they did it once, they can do it again

Bad news:

-That's a ridiculous clip
-Difficult for role players to play well on the road

Mavs can't shoot as well as they did from 3 two games in a row and I can't see CP3 having three bad games in a row.

CP3 won't foul out again - but is he having bad games or is something Dallas is doing frustrating him and getting him out of his game? Bullock seems to be forcing him to operate a bit faster than normal.

Luka has been pressing a bit. Hopefully he has a high assist game. He will get his points no matter what, but it feels like success is going to come from him lighting a fire for the rest of the squad. I feel like tonight’s game is going to be a war.

Not trying to be argumentative but I was at the Friday night Dallas win and the Mavs shot 33% from 3 while Phoenix shot 46%. If all I knew was that stat I would have said Dallas got rolled…yet they were pretty much in control from start to finish. Weird stat for sure but I think Dallas figured something out. Let’s hope they can continue tonight!

He really needs to reevaluate his need to take those 28 ft step back 3s…. He tries to heat check too much if he makes his first 3. Making that first is a prime opportunity to lure the defense out and drive to the bucket, this is where as his exp grows he’ll understand these situations better.
