Lowe and Marks did a good take on this recently. I'm fully in the camp of if they can dump his contract for Westbrook's expiring and the 2 unprotected firsts, they should be personally escorting Beal to the airport

The few Wizards fans I know are honestly confused by the team. They like Beal obviously but would be understanding of and are curious why the team doesn't go full rebuild

Would be a dream for the Nuggs to land Caruso.

I thought up this one the other day... If they could fire Malone and pull of something like this, they instantly become a top 2 team/contender.

Contingent on Turner being able to swing 20 minutes per game in a JJJ role as the 4, but I think he could.

Nuggs have 1sts in '24 and '26, guessing one would go to each of Chicago and Indy. With 2nds/swaps filling in value where needed.

Murray-Caruso-Gordon-Turner-Jokic

McConnell-Bones-KCP-Cancar-Nnaji

Jettison DJ and Malone and that's a team that could lay waste to the West.

Why Indy does it: If Turner is leaving anyway, they get a 1st and some other picks with it, plus clear out McConnel's deal, who is a more valuable player to a team like Denver, and not needed for a young rebuilding team with multiple young PGs.

Why Chicago does it: If they're blowing it up, then half a year of Vuc has no value except to fill in salary in a swap, but Caruso has been elite defensively for years and could possibly bring back a talented but injured flier on MPJ - they would get picks and possibly swaps for taking on his contract. I think they could do a lot worse, and getting back a talent like MPJ is about as good as they could hope to nab for a guy like Caruso. He's also the type of gamble they should look for. Who really knows what value Lavine has - Derozan for sure will net them something, but likely not a quality young player.

Why Denver does it: West looks open, with possibly the Grizz being the main opponent standing in the way. Grizz might be a year away though, and with only 1 team looking that strong / in the way of a Finals berth, it should be worth the gamble of a couple 1sts and MPJ. The big possible setback is Malone.

Could see the Mavs emptying the clip for Lavine, any other team and it's most likely a losing proposition but when you have the Don, it's enough to probably put them in contention in the declining West.

Sure did and being consistently mediocre is so much worse but I get it from the ownership's POV, don't see any other all-star lining up to play in DC. Someone has to sell tickets over there.

and unfortunately for them both of their lottery picks are looking like busts.

What do they have to load the clip with?

That's going to have to be a lot of picks to take on the long contracts they will have to unload.

Dinwiddie and Bertans plus picks would be the answer?

THJ or Dinwiddie for sure. Bertans if they fleece.

It’s a gamble for the nonconformist but they need to shake things up after fumbling the Jalen situation.

Zach’s knees and that brand new extension though - I see parallels of Porzingis situation.

I don't think it's a bad deal value-wise.

But after getting burned by 2 guys with injury issues, I can't see the FO gambling on a third one.

They're in a tough spot... Lavine doesn't have much [any?] value on that contract. His salary jumps to $40 million next year, he's not exactly a 2way player and he's not been 40mil-elite on offense either... Derozan has some value, but is older and also not really a defender, which is what most contending teams need at the 3.

I really don't see what they can drum up from blowing it up aside from Caruso and Derozan getting them some picks back. MPJ would likely be the best talent they could hope for. Then they cross their fingers and sacrifice something so that Lonzo + MPJ are healthy for a couple years together and P-Will continues to develop.

Sucks to see after just a year ago being #1 in the East. Don't want to go through another rebuild, but it's clear they aren't going anywhere as constructed.

Really crazy how bad the Warriors are without Steph.

Also... Feel really bad for anybody that has even $1 invested in Wiseman.

Wiseman played 22 minutes and could only muster 4 points and 3 rebounds while picking up 5 fouls and 2 turnovers.

There’s no potential or NBA future for this guy. He sucks no matter his age or build or anything…

Against NY's second unit and the almighty Hartenstein, no less.

Maybe we'll get another streamable of an uncontested 2 hand flush to solidify how he's Got Next.

Solid W sans Murray and MPJ... 13-13-13 for El Yoker over the top seed in the west, now in a tie for 1st.

We didn't get much Joker vs JJJ until the end, but it was fun to watch the positioning battle when we did.

^Yeah JJJ has been getting into foul trouble lately - something he seemed improved at early on - may just be a blip - was an animal when he played though -> 8 stocks tonight in barely 22 minutes.

Yep. Pretty sure they’re 3 below .500 on the road now.

Say no more.

Here's a streamable of the most basic DHO you've ever seen that he manages to royally screw up and then goaltend at the other end.

Pure bliss

"Future Hall of Famer" Draymond Green with the amazing stats (7-5-6, no steals, no blocks).

Can't wait to see how he leads his team to victory in the next game.
