The Yocelin project continues. Today I snuck up on her while she was asleep and left a bag with some goodies and a few dollars in the blue tote by her head.. I set a cup of coffee down too. She did not wake up.

I have the opposite habit. I'll plan these vacations, or save up the money to buy something really expensive, then not do it because I always panic that something will happen and I'll need the money. I never want to be in a struggling position again, and I stress over it.

Homeless guy we have that stayed on a bench on Main St got arrested the other day for indecent exposure and some other charges. He never wanted help when I asked.

Oof. I've heard of homeless people getting themselves arrested for "three hots and a cot", or sometimes to get a tooth pulled or whatever, but it seems weird this time of year. Guy might just be a creep.

Could the indecent exposure be urinating in an alley?

Hopefully a judge or prosecutor will get him a mental health eval at least.

Might be for AC the way the heat is already. This guy is crazy, he yells at cars and follows people. Nobody knows where he came from, he just showed up. In a city of around 10,000 for somebody to just show up out of nowhere to live on a bench is strange. Almost like he was dropped there by somebody else.

That is definitely weird. One would think there would be more resources for them in a larger city. It's probably also more risky though.

In Miami, Dade county police have a unit dedicated to dealing with them. They keep notes and go do check-ins with the known unhoused population periodically, I think once a week. They take goodie bags and just ask them how they're doing, if they want help, that kinda stuff.

I'm glad they spend my tax dollars on it.

I've got to figure out if any of this stuff is worth grading. Some decent stuff, but I've got to look at condition a little closer.

Having teenagers can be rather boring at times. They are both happy playing a game on the computer together. I am on my computer, sitting in the same room as them. Mr JD is in class.

After seeing other peoples cards get graded I am afraid to send anything in. I don’t want to turn an ungraded card into a low grade nightmare that I would lose money on.

The Mbraves home stand starts tomorrow and I still haven’t gotten my schedule yet. I guess I will give it till 8 tonight and then bother the supervisor. Not very professional to send it at the last minute.

Had a family member call this afternoon saying they are $5,000 behind on their car payments, and if they don't pay by Friday the car will be repo'd. The car is worth maybe $2,000. There are 2 people in the house and neither of them work. They were trying to beat around the bush thinking I'd say I'd loan the money. Finally they said I don't know what else to do to come up with the money. I said have either of you thought about getting a job? They hung up.

Found a 1997 Topps Gallery Gallery of Heroes John Elway and 2 Marcus Allen's. Elway seems to sell well. I thought they were a few bucks each at best.

Well anybody got any advice how to get a snake out of the house. I was walking through the middle room to get to the kitchen and saw a medium sized black snake. It went under the dresser and I haven’t seen it since.
