Took a flier on this one last week

That gives me nicer cards of 3 guys in the Angels rotation. Similar to the kid in Sixteen candles-

Two more bigger ones incoming later this week.

Thankfully he looks amazing in his first inning. Put the every dollar I spent on my Ragans stash on the over 1.5 Ks

Dan - he throws with the wrong hand/arm. Did you notice that? Hope that’s not a problem..

A Eury orange Silver Pack /25 just sold for $141 in an ebay auction. I’m glad to see it, but it seems kinda crazy considering some comps…

$7.50 - what I paid for the Eury blue Silver Pack /150 I showed the other day.

$45 - What I paid today for a Michael Harris Jr. orange Silver Pack /25.

$62.50 - the BIN for a gold Eury Silver Pack /50 sitting on ebay.

$175 - what a Eury red Silver Pack /5 sold for in December.

He hit 101 on a pitch with 20 inch iVB (that’s considered elite fwiw) in his first inning jn spring . If you don’t have any cy young action on him I’d get it down before it’s to late (even though he prob can’t win in the royals)

It’s Eury’s age that’s driving people crazy. Lots of strong comps for players who have done what he’s done as such a young age.

Looks like that gold Silver Pack is gone too. I guess someone got a good annual raise/bonus this year…

So…. You’re saying the orange is going to a certain fan of the Miami Marlins?

THAT is the smart kind of play I’ve come to expect from you…

I was getting ready to support you in this presumed decision to splurge on the orange, but I’m relieved that it was the gold instead.

Excited to watch, got decent amount down at over 1.5 Ks before moved to heavily juiced over 2.

Here’s a few random observations so far from what I’ve seen.
1. Guys I have large bags of:
Ragans looked like he could be best pitcher in baseball. Gore looked great.

This guy also looked amazing, 30 year old pitcher with 3 career war what could go wrong ($25 for 2 indys, black, blue and pink).

2. Guys I own little to no cards of: Hunter and Harrison both looked great also, luzardo also

Now I just need to make sure I wildly over-draft him in my fantasy league and I’ll be all set.

Love the red ink Ragans and love me some Tyler Wells. Think he could be especially sneaky early this year with a rotation spot sitting there for him. Had a great first half before fatigue hit after the break.

Those Ragans autos are some bigguns! Nothing better than a Rainbow foil auto. (Reminds me of the days when I swam in the deep-end of the pool and was picking up Acuna, Vlad, and others in those vintages…)

Bobby and Grayson both get a first look today.

Josiah Gray had a promising outing yesterday, despite the ND.

2IP, 2 H, 0 BB, 0 R, 5 K.

Just hope that's not his shining moment of '24.

Thanks Laith- I've generally stayed away from his Stadium Club stuff but Im a still a sucker for the SC rainbow foils and the price was good($24+5) and even the Heritage red at $40 seems quite fair.

It’s been great seeing so much buzz around so many different pitchers this offseason, even more than last year it seems.

I really think that with all the publicly available information there is for pitchers these days (Statcast metrics, Stuff+, Pitching Ninja videos, etc) that we’re going to see more interest in pitchers grow in the hobby as well.
