The move is on the 18th now if all goes as planned.

We ended up having to cut down a bunch of branches on a tree that split in half and was hanging over the pool. Just my brother and I were the only "adults" home at the time. I thought we did a really good job.

My husband and my mom both got home around the same time. They got the fun parts. We have a hand held chainsaw. They both got to use it. My brother and I already had all the branches down, the trailer moved over and were about to put the tarp on.

I am drinking my coffee out of a Cornell mug. The boys and I are all getting Cornell hoodies. This is getting a bit much.

I so appreciated being woken up at 3AM by Ft. Belvoir's automated system calling my and my wife's phones to tell us the base was under a tornado warning.

King George was under a tornado warning as we drove to work. The usual backroads we took were littered with debris from trees, but no actual trees were down on the road.

We received the updated dress code for school last night. Our Son is going to hate not being able to wear hats anymore. Maybe that will be his incentive to cut that mop he has.

Working from home the rest of the day. Went to the crisis house, made sure everyone had what they needed for the weekend, warned them of the weather, picked up one guys prescription and headed out.

Nope, warnings. E-mails are still in my deleted folder on both army and corporate e-mail accounts.

I think I'm going to setup a rule to have those alerts sent to the junk folder.
