Haven't touched the bulk editor in a couple years and just tried logging in now. Has it been down for a while?

A decent week overall. Sold over 300 cards for $350, purchased about 100 cards, and still have $200 left in the account.

I just checked and the watch list issue has apparently been fixed.

anybody got any advice sending a bunch of minis (like allen and ginter) to comc?

I was going to pack them in team bags and then in the white storage boxes. But open to other ideas.

When I sent mine in I used the mini penny sleeves I had laying around. I put those in team bags and then in the boxes like you suggested. If you are going to use regular penny sleeves, I would put the minis in 90 degrees from normal so the long side of the mini is on the bottom of the sleeve.

taking 4-6 weeks to ship a basic order is absolutely ridiculous because if you buy from them on ebay, they ship fast! so why does it take them so long to ship out from their site? do they ship out quicker than the estimated time?

interesting...I honestly was just going to not sleeve any of them and pack them tight. Maybe the numbered ones. But good advice on the 90 degree trick!

thanks

On ebay, you're paying the expedited shipping costs on COMC.com. So that's why they ship out so quickly: you are paying for it embedded in the increased costs. But yes, they regularly ship out before it says they will on the website. No guarantee of that; who knows when another wave of COVID will go through the office.

It's just a glitch. I get it too randomly. You can turn off viewing auctions through COMC using the menu bar on the left side of the page.

It only worked with Windows 32-bit versions. Your computer probably updated to 64-bit. They have not improved it since James Good left, I think.

I messaged them Thursday about the issue. Got a reply today stating it was fixed.

Again a so-so sale for me. Had one card for sale which I mistakenly purchased. It did not sell even at a loss. Purchased 27 cards. a few at a good price, some over paid but the rest was close to being fair IMO. Almost all of them were priced the same or a little lower (1%) than they were before the sale. Same discount as they normally have.

Still have money in my account, was hoping to spend all of it.

I spoke with another person at comc customer service, explained comc does have on its site several multi card puzzle sketches from epack (such as achievements). They said it’s fine, just keep it together and make a note on it with submission. I did just that and it was submitted and posted to COMC as one unit- a 4 card puzzle sketch.
thanks!

will reach out before my next submission

Anyone have ideas for why the economy shipping on the cards I ordered over Spring Promotion would be $9.99 instead of $5.99.

I was in buyer mode and I don't see any addition handling or supplies added to any of the cards.

COMC charges a box fee per shipment (I think $5.95), plus a handling fee is added to each item added to the shipment (25 cent for normal sized item, $1 for Elite).

On COMC, you can opt in to expedited shipping for an extra fee (I think 50 cents per item). Then they will pack as fast as they would if it was an eBay order.

On eBay, they also embed a 15% Buyer's Premium, which they don't charge if you are on COMC and logged in.

If you have a lot of cards to ship, and some are time sensitive, you might consider splitting the shipments. Send some by the cheap method and some by the fast method. You will pay the box fee $5.95 on each shipment, but you won't have to pay Expedited shipping on every single item.

If the value of the cards eclipses like $500(?) it automatically upgrades to signature confirmation.

That might be it, but I didn't really buy anything big and don't think I hit that. Sending a message to CS so they can ignore it.

What happens if you change a card in your inventory to Ready to Ship and then price it again. Does it "refresh," or since it has the same item# does it go back to where it was chronologically? In other words, is there a way to "bump?"

You can bump it by reprocessing as Elite. It will get a new item number. Marking ready to ship then repricing wont bump it

Does anyone know what COMC charges to ship items not purchased on their site. ex: I sent in a card to be processed, now decided that I want to put the card back in my PC so I request to have it shipped back to me. If I purchase a card on COMC, I believe it is .25 cents per card but how much is it if I request to ship my own card back to me. (I believe its more than the .25 cent shipping fee per card? thank you

usps shipping Durant cost that much! I get they have to charge to pull the order but $50+ seems ridiculous! (.25 cents a card is ridiculous in my opinion)

They charge the same handling fee. Usually it's 25 cents on normal sized cards, though it will be $1 for Elite.

When you request the shipment it will ask you for a declared value on items you submitted. On items you purchased, they go by the price you paid.
