PSA is not to blame if Upper Deck didn't print/ cut the cards to the right size.

it could just be their general incompetence and the card is cut just fine...it is a toss up who messed up

Hi all, quick question which I'm sure has been asked before ad nauseum, but I am having a very hard time finding an answer to.

I had a card sent to eBay auction through COMC which ended up selling at a good price ($400+) however I have still not received payment, presumably because the auction winner has not paid. The auction ended last Wednesday evening. How long does it take for COMC to process a no payment and send the card back to my COMC account? Some preliminary research says four calendar days, but this has exceeded that length.

I messaged about the shipping upcharge on my shipment and instead of actually answering my question, they responded as if I had asked where my coupon was.

This is directly what was said to me in the email reply: When checking with our team, the credit should be added to their account between 05/02 - 05/05.

Didn't get one either. I just paid the $5.99 yesterday to ship out the 111 cards. Hopefully I buy enough before the voucher expires, whenever it arrives.

Two weeks. I asked them about it after a week for one of my auctions a month back, they told me two weeks and then I got paid the next day, ha.

I sent them a message about "Monday May 2th" issue, when it first came out Before the sale started. Then again on the May 4th. Still no reply to ether. Normally for me when I ask them something it is 1 to 2 days before I get a "canned" reply. (We will look into it)

Let's see if there truly isn't an expiration date. That would be very nice as I requested shipment on 1,000 cards at the end of the Spring Cleaning sale and currently have next to nothing to ship.

I know that there is an additional submission fee for "oversized" cards, but is there a fee for thicker cards?

Yes, also $3 based on their own assessment. They used to list a maximum width to be standard, but they don't anymore.

I took a look back at my submissions over the last few months and this $3 charge is almost never triggered, even on cards thicker than 180 point. The only $3 additional charge I found was on a booklet card. Everything else was just charged at the standard rate for that submission level.

I messaged COMC on Facebook and they responded within a minute. Told me the $5.99 credit will be deposited on May 24 and does not expire. Completely different from their initial statement.

Does COMC ever have sales on shipping? My cheapest shipping option is $79 to ship 370 cards with a June 21st estimated arrival. My other options are $264 by may 9th, and $487 express. This is with 0 top loaders added and estimated value of only $300 (SRP says $700 but realistic ebay prices is more like $150-300), nothing graded, and no single card worth more than $50. Kind of threw me off because usually my shipping is around $20-30.

Are you only shipping cards that you've purchased on COMC?

If the $79 is for economy shipping, I’m assuming you have lots of cards you didn’t purchase on comc, likely transferred in from ePack. The numbers roughly match up, they are .25 a piece to ship home, no combined shipping. That’s one of the major bummers about epack, the amount they cost to ship home.

No, there are never any "deals" on shipping bulk except for earning a $5.99 credit sometimes. They have said in the past that if you need to ship a very large amount (over 5,000 cards?), that you could message them to try to negotiate a lower rate.

I think you overstated the "We do all the work for them." That is saying Receiving, sorting, IDing, storing, pulling and shipping is not work.

Yes "we" do find errors and price them what other work do we do???

Yes!!! There are things "we" do not like about how they run their company, but it is their company.


The $79 shipping for 370 cards sounds odd. Without know what cards and how they were purchased and where you are shipping them to, it is hard to really know. As what is given the numbers just do not match up.
